1.能够熟练地运用I’d like a/some ...,please.和Can I have a/some …, please? 来表达自己在就餐时的意愿,并能对其进行自然的回答。
2.复习本单元所学食物单词bread,juice,egg, milk,water, cake,fish,rice,学习生词ice-cream/coke要求能够听懂会说。
3.关爱小动物,培养健康合理饮食的观念。 二、教学重难点
教学重点是听、说、认读单词:bread,juice,egg, milk,water, cake,fish,rice,并学习新单词Coke , ice cream .以及在语境中运用句型:I’d like some … Can I have some …, please ? Here you are . 等。
教学难点是听、说、认读单词新单词Coke , ice cream 以及灵活运用句型:I’d like some … Can I have some …, please ? Here you are . 等。
三、教学步骤 Step 1 Warm up
1.Daily greetings.
T : Hello , boys and girls . Ss : Hello , Miss Zhang . T:Nice to meet you! Ss :Nice to meet you,too! T:How are you? Ss:I’m fine,thank you. T : Today we will learn Unit 5 Let’s eat ! C Story time . At first,let’s have a chant.
2. Review “Let’s do ”on Page 49 and Page 52. Ss chant and clap hands.
Step 2 Lead- in 1. Sharp eyes.
Some pictures will appear on the screen and disappear quickly, Ss say the word loudly.
T:You’ll see some food words. Read loudly, please. 2. Do you know more food words? Ss hands up and answer.
3.Teach the new word “ice cream”.
T:Look, I have another nice food. What’s this? It’ ice cream. Ice cream , ice cream ,have some ice cream. Read the word in different ways.
4.Teach the new word “coke”.(外来词音译法eg:cool model hamburger show pizza)
Coke coke, have some coke. Read the word in different ways. 5. Review the sentence structures.
T:Look, I have so many food:juice, eggs bread ... What would you like? You can say :I’d like some..., please. For example:I’d like some rice,please.
I’d like some fish,please.we can also say:Can I have some fish, please?
6.Practice
A:After reviewing, give Ss all the picture. Then ask one of them like this.
T:Oh, I’m hungry.Who has rice? Can I have some rice, please? S:Sure. Here you are. T:Thank you. S: You’re welcome.
B:T asks 8 students who has pictures to come to the board. 2 students work in a pair. One says ,“I’d like some …,please .” or “ Can I have some …,please ?” The other shows the picture and says “Here you are .” Then exchange .
Step 3 Presentation
1. T show the picture of Zoom and say :I have a good friend.Look,he is Zoom. Say “Hello”to him ,please. Ss say:Hello, Zoom. Nice to meet you.
Look at the last picture.
T:Zoom is in the canteen.What’s on the table? Rice, juice, fish
and a cat.Oh! What’s wrong with the fish?It only has stone.
Is Zoom happy? Why? What happened? 2. Now watch the story and check the answer.
T: Is Zoom happy? Why? Ss : No. The cat eat the fish .
T : Yes . You’re clever .
3. Watch the story and repeat it sentence by sentence once with thinking about what zoom orders.
4. Answer the question :What does Zoom order ?(Zoom 点了哪些食物?)
Ss : Fish , rice , coke and ice cream .
5.Read the story
A:Follow the tape. B:Read together.C:Read in roles D: Pei Yin Step 4 Practice 1. Group work 1
T:What will Zoom do?Put your food or pictures on the desk.Give a new ending to the story and act it out.There are some useful expressions that you can use. 2. Group work 2
Choose a scene (toy shop,fruit shop,school things shop) to act out and make up a new story in groups.
Step 5 Summary
Summary what we have learned today. T:What do you learn from the story ?
T & Ss : We should protect animals . Don’t order too much .Don’t wast food.
Step 6 Homework
1. Listen to the story for 10 minutes and act it out at home . 2. Search more words and expressions about food . Step 7 The ending of the class
T : I’m very happy today. Are you happy ? You are all very good .Thank you . Goodbye ! Ss : Goodbye ! Board designing
