教材分析：
本课的故事是大明正在举办一个生日聚会，当他吹小号的时候，被突然发生的事件给中断了。需要学生掌握的语言功能是：Daming is playing the trumpet, but the phone is ringing.说明事件的变化。本课的内容贴近学生的生活实际，有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。
设计理念：
“课程是知识，也是经验，还是活动，是体验，更是语言的载体。”根据本课的特点，我采用了“创设真实语境和小组合作学习的教学法，通过卡片及实物和多媒体课件来呈现课文内容，循序渐进激发学生的学习兴趣，通过大量的活动及游戏来操练、巩固及运用所学知识，让学生在体验中成长，在快乐中学
教学目标：
一、语言知识目标：
1. 功能：描述正在做一件事情的同时另一件事情发生的场景。 2. 语法：全体学生能运用：
He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
3. 词汇：
全体学生能理解：play，third，time，bark，loudly，nothing 全体学生能运用：play，time
部分学生能理解：time，bark，loudly，nothing
二、语言技能目标：
1. 听、说：
全体学生能听懂、会说：
He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.
2. 读：全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关短文。 3. 写：全体学生能按照要求完成语句书写。 三、运用：
全体学生能运用已学语言描述正在做一件事情的同时另一件事情发生的场景。
四、情感目标：激发学生学习英语的热情。
教学重点：
1. 单词：third ，nothing

Step 1. Revision
Review the words of Uint 1 Moudle 5 （这个单元的单词在早读课已经学过） Step 2. Presentation
1. lead in：（Unit 1中活动一内容） （1）Show a picture of two dogs T：What are they？ Ss: They’re dogs.
T：Whose dogs are they？ Ss: They’re XX’s dogs.
T: In fact, they’re Jia Tao’s dogs.
( 2) （两只狗胡幻灯片上出现下雨、乌云和荷叶动画）
T：It’s raining. What are Jia Tao’s dogs talking? Let’s take a
look.
( 3 ) Watch the cartoon. ( 4 ) Answer the questions:
T：What are Jia Tao’s dogs doing？ S1: They’re talking about the
.(幻灯片中出现此句)
T：青蛙：frogs. What are the frogs doing？ S2: They’re singing and dancing . (幻灯片中出现此句) T：Anything else？
S3: They’re having a party . (幻灯片中出现此句)
T：Yes，they’re having a party. Read the three sentences together. Ss：…
T： Look at the three sentences together carefully. What can you find ？ S4：它们都是现在进行时的时态。
T：Great！Have you remember the structure？ S5：主语 + be动词 + V-ing + 其它 T：Excellent！
2. Lead into the second story. （为Unit 1中活动二进行导入）
( 1) T: The frogs can sing and dance. And I heard that one of
them can play a musical instrument. He likes playing it. What is it？
( 2 ) Show a picture of a frog and his speak bubble: I can play the
suona. (重点教学此短语)
（3）Review the verb phrases about the instrument.
play the suona，play the violin，play the piano，play the
guitar
T: What can you find？
S6：这几个乐器弹奏的表达方法都有play the. T: Yes，you’re right.
T: The frog can play the suona. And Daming can play the suona, too. Today is Daming’s birthday. Daming is having a bithday party. He is playing the suona. And his friends are enjoying the beautiful music. But they are always interrupted by something. What are they? Let’s take a look.
3. Learn the second story.
（1）Watch the story.
（2）Show the pictures and help the Ss to say the naughty things
T：The first time：
Daming is playing the suona , but the phone rings.
T：The second time：
S7：Daming is playing the suona again , but the bell rings. T：Excellent！
T：The third time：
S7：Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark. T：Excellent！
T：You did very well. Let’s read together.
Observe the three sentences. What rules can you find？ （提示学生：可以从句子的前半句和后半句去观察） S8：句子的前半句用的都是正在进行时。后半句…
T：你已经很棒了，的确，句子的前半句用的都是正在进行时。后半句在理解一下。 S9：句子的后半句用的是一般现在时。
