Greetings.
T: Today, we are going to learn Unit 6 Do you like bananas? Section A (1a-2c) Step1: Lead-in. T:Tomorrow is my birthday. I want to have a birthday party. Would you like to come? Look at the picture, I have many things for you. What are they? Let‟s learn the new words. 通过开生日派对,直接引出本课话题。 Step2: New words.
1.Present the new words.
T: Look, what‟s this?
S:It‟s a banana.
T: And what are these?
S: They‟re bananas.
(Show pictures to teach the names of the food such as “banana,
hamburger, tomato, ice-cream, salad, strawberry ,pear, milk ,bread.”)

Step3:Grammar.
T: Look at the screen, what are they? S:“一个香蕉, 一个梨…单数” T: Well, what are these words?
S:“复数”
T: How to change „ strawberry‟ into plural form? S:Strawberries.
T: How about „ tomato‟? S:加-es.
T: We call these nouns “ Countable nouns(可数名词)‟‟
Then teach the rules of changing the singular forms into plural forms and the pronunciation.
Teach nouns have Countable nouns and uncountable nouns. Classify the four words-bread, ice-cream, salad, milk. Uncountable nous: bread, milk.
Countable and uncountable nouns: ice-cream, salad(当份数讲可数)
Step4: New drills.
1. Present the new drills.
T: I like tomatoes. Do you like tomatoes/ milk? S1:Yes, I do./ No, I don‟t. 2. Practice the drill.
Ask and answer according to the pictures. S1:Do you like…?
S2:Yes, I do. / No, I don‟t.
