Content:仁爱英语八年级上册 Unit3 Our Hobbies Topic1 What's your hobby? SectionA(2/3a/3b)  The second period The main activity is 2. Teaching aims and demands: 
1.Learn different expressions with similar meanings. 
2.The new structures: be interested in doing sth./be fond of doing sth. 3.Go on talking about "What's your hobby?" Difficult and key points 
like/love/enjoy/prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth. Teaching procedures 
Stage1 Getting students ready for leaning        Step1 Greet to all students. 
       Step2 Play a brain storm game to check the students' preview and activate the students' knowledge reserve about this lesson. Stage2 Pre-listening 
      Step1 Show a picture in SectionA about Wen Wei to review the structures of enjoy/like doing sth.       Step2 Show a picture in SectionA about Helen  to review the structures of love/prefer doing sth.       Step3 Show a photo of Yang Mi to lead in the new phrase of be interested in doing sth.       Step4 Play a video about 中国诗词大会to lead in the new phrase of be fond of doing sth. 
      Step5 A guessing game:"What is Miss Li's hobby?" to consolidate the new structures of be interested in/be fond of doing sth. 
 
 
 
 
      Step6 Drill the new structures of be interested in/be fond of doing sth. by pair work. Stage3 While-listening (SectionA 2) 
      Step1 Show the picture in 2 to guide the students to predict the listening.       Step2 Play the recording of 2.Let the students listen  and complete the sentences.       Step3 Play the recording of 2 again, and check the answers. 
      Step4 Play the recording of 2 for the third time, let the students read after the tape ,and then sum up the key points. 
      Step5 Consolide the key points:like/love/enjoy/prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth. by making a sentence with pictures and             given words. 
      Step6 Go on consolidating the key points:like/love/enjoy/prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth.  by doing some exercises. Stage4 Post-listening(SectionA 3a/3b)       Step1 Finish 3a by a passing game. 
           Round1  Match the pictures with the phrases in 3a. 
           Round2 Listen to the sentences and number the pictures in 3a.            Round3 Read and check. 
      Step2 Finish 3b by group work and a report. Stage5 Assigning homework       Step1   Summary. 
      Step2  Assign today's homework. 
           1. Interview your sisters,brothers,parents and grandparents"What's your hobby?"Then write a report using like/love/enjoy              /prefer/be interested in/be fond of doing sth. You may begin like this: My sister likes flying a kite...
