Step 1.Warming up
Read words in unit 6 together
Sing a chant apple an apple a red red apple
apples apples red red apples
orange an orange an orange orange orange
oranges oranges orange orange oranges
Class begins Do you think you are the best? Today we are going to learn Unit6 Do you like bananas?
Step 2.
1. Review the words (There is so much food here. What is this? It is an apple .What is that? It is an orange. What are these (those)? They are ….. A competition:Identify countable nouns and uncountable nouns as quickly as they can . Study some new words.
Practice the drills: Do you like ……? Yes, I do. / No, I don`t.
A game :Look at the screen .Countable nouns, stand up and read them loudly. Others, sit down and also read them loudly.
Step 3.
1. Show a proverb (An apple a day, keep the doctor away.)
I like tomatoes, because they are healthy. Eat them, I will be stronger and stronger, more and more beautiful. I do not like ice-cream, because they are unhealthy. Eat it, I will be fatter and fatter. Let`s eat healthy food.
2. Make conversations. A: I like tomatoes. Do you like tomatoes?
B: Yes, I do. / No, I don`t.
C: I like apples, but I don`t like ice-cream.
Do you like ice-cream?
D: Yes, I do. / No, I don`t.
Step 4.
1.Practice the drills A: I like apples, but I don`t like ice-cream.
B: She likes…., but she doesn`t like …..
2. Work in pairs A: Does she/ he like …..?
B: Yes, she/ he does. (No, she doesn`t.)
Step5. Listen to the tape. Complete the task on the textbook and check the answers
Step6. Do a survey
Do a survey what your friends like or dislike about food .Then show your survey in front of the class.
(1.Guess what I am? 2. I will report what I interview. )
Step 7. Homework and summary
作业:让学生收集父母喜欢的食物,并小组合作用本节课的目标语言来谈论自已喜好。
在作业中体现出德育渗透 ,了解父母的喜好。
