Teaching preparation: PPT,video, BOPP films
Teaching steps: Step I. Warming-up 1.Greetings:
T: Good morning, boys and girls. S: Good morning, miss Hu.
2.T:There are many colours in our daily life. There is an animal , it can change its colour. Can you guess what is it? S: Chameleon!
T: Yes ! It’s chameleon. I have a video about chameleon. Do you want to see? S: Yes!
Play the video about chameleon. (Use chameleon to review the colour words. )
T: look! It’s purple. Now it’s green. Wow! It’s red now!...
(设计意图:设置谜语作为悬念导入,吸引学生的注意力,播放变色龙视频,营造轻松、愉悦的课堂氛围,复习颜色单词,为后面的句型学习作铺垫。)
Step II. Presentation
T: Chameleons can change colours. Can Danny change his colour?(Show Danny’s picture.) Ss: No.
T:Right!Danny can’t change his colour, but Danny likes colours. (PPT)T:“Who are they? Ss: Steven and Danny.
T:What are they talking about?” Ss: Maybe colours ? Maybe sports ?
T: Yes, you’re so smart. Maybe Steven and Danny are talking about their favourite colours.(T read the dialogue,point “favourite”, write on the blackboard,and ask“What’s the meaning?”Ss:最喜爱的。T: You’re so smart.) (PPT):
T:How about this picture, what are they talking about? Ss: I think they are talking about colours . T:Maybe they are talking about colours ,too. T: Can you guess their favourite colour?
(Ss can guess their favourite colours from their clothes and shoes.) S1:I think Mr. Wood’s favourite colour is … S2: I think Kim ’s favourite colour is…
S3:I think Jenny ’s favourite colour is… T:Why?Why do you think so? S:Because of their clothes and shoes.
T:Oh! You look carefully! Mr. Wood is wearing a brown T-shirt, so you think he likes brown. Kim is wearing....
T:I will show you the dialogue, let’s check your answer. T:You guess it!
Shows four pictures and ask:“How many ‘favourite’ can you find in these four pictures? please circle them.” Ss: Eight.
T: Eight? Ok, now let’s watch the cartoon and find the answers. Open your books, turn to P51.Look at the dialogue.
T:From the dialogue, we know Mr. Wood’s favourite colour is brown, Kim ’s favourite colour is blue, Jenny ’s favourite colour is blue, too. Steven’s favourite colour is green. Danny’s favourite colour is green, too. T:What’s your favourite colour? Please discuss in groups. S1: It’s yellow…
S2: My favourite colour is pink… S3: Purple is my favourite colour…
引导学生观察课文对于这个问题的几种不同回答,板书并出示在
PPT 上,引导他们用多种回答方式回答这个问题。
T:Who likes blue/green? Please stand up!
Find blue, ask them come to the blackboard. T:What’s your favourite colour? Ss: Blue. T:Blue is my favourite, too ! So we can say: We like blue. T circle blue together and say: “Our favourite colour is blue.” Find green, ask them come to the blackboard. T:What’s your favourite colour? Then practice: We like green. Our favourite colour is green. Then T stand with blue,point to green,T:They like green. Their favourite colour is green.”
(设计意图:通过创设语境、利用提示性的问题、教师的描述等方法来唤起学生对颜色的感知经历、让学生通过问题、语境进行自主尝试。引导学生自己说出不同颜色,从单词教学上升到语句的训练继而大胆地放手给学生大量地机会,激发学习的热情,鼓励他们用语言描述不同的颜色,锻炼学生的口语表达能力和语言的综合运用能力。同时 通过师生互动,生生互动,让学生对本课单词句型能够准确掌握。)
Step III. Practice
1. T:Let’s watch the cartoon again. Read the dialogue sentence by sentence.
T: Who wants to read like Danny/Mr. Wood/Kim…? Ss read the dialogue.
T:Good job./Your English is beautiful/You speak English like Danny…
2. role play
Read and imitate together.
Read and act the dialogue in groups of four.
Use the sentence they learned、the colours they like and act it out. T:Amazing!You all did a good job! You speak English like an Englishman.
(设计意图:给学生设置三种不同难度的任务,让他们自由选择,操练并内化。这一活动为学生创设了独立运用新授语言知识的机会,可以充分运用本课的词汇、短语进行综合性的语言操练,不仅能有效地将前后两部份内容结合起来也是对以前所学语句地复习运用,也体现了学生从学说到自己会说、运用语言表达自己对颜色喜好的学习过程。)
IV production
1. What’s your favourite colour? Do you like red? How about yellow?
Now let’s listen a song <Red, yellow, blue and green stand up> First read the song, then do and sing together.
2.T:Wow,what a beautiful song~We song Red, yellow, blue and green.Do you know what colour is red and yellow? Let me show you.
Students work in groups. Then ask a student come to the blackboard ,do
and say.
(Use “My favourite colour is…”)
2. Teacher shows PPT(Colourful things) and say: Colours make our life colourful. Homework:
1.Tell your friend and parents your favourite colour. 2.Read some English books about colours.
