教学设计
一、教材分析
“You can play football well”是《新标准英语》三年级起点第五册第六模块第一单元。本模块要让学生了解和学习有关评价，肯定和鼓励的表达法，是对以前学过的关于能力的相关知识的拓展和延伸。本单元通过Lingling加入足球队一事，让学生学会简单的自我评价和肯定与鼓励他人，进一步学会表达“can„well”句型。另外，在本课学习并运用几个新的动词短语，pass the ball, catch the ball. 二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级学生，经过两年多的英语学习，他们已经掌握了一定的语言基础知识，知道can、can’t、play basketball、play football、run fast、jump high等单词及短语的表达；具备了一定的听、说、读、写和语言运用能力，如能运用Can you „? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.来询问和表达能力；有兴趣继续听说和学习英语。因此，在教学中应从学生的已有知识、能力和兴趣出发，充分运用各种教学手段，尽可能创设真实、有趣的语言情境，吸引和组织他们积极参与，使他们在参与、体验、合作与交流中，自然地习得语言，发展技能，从而提高实际语言运用能力。 三、教学目标
（一）知识目标
1、能听懂、会说并认读下列单词：well、team、really、good at、catch、goalkeeper、think、fantastic、fan.并会运用well、think、fan.
2、能听懂、会说并认读下列句子：Can you run fast? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t. You can play football well.
（二）能力目标
1.能运用“can„well”句型评价自己和他人。 2.能够用自己的语言复述课文。
3.能够模仿课文与同桌编一段要参加社团的对话。 （三）情感目标
1、 培养学生将学到的知识运用到真实生活中的能力，提高学生自我评价和欣赏别人的能力。
2、 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生与他人合作交流的能力。 四、教学要点分析
（一）教学重点
1、能认读词汇：well, team, really, good at, catch, goalkeeper, think, fantastic, fan.
2、 能运用“can„well”句型来评价自己和他人。 （二）教学难点
结合实际在真实的语境中运用“can„well”句型来评价自己和他人的表现。
（三 ）教学策略 1. 本课主要运用建构主义的方法来学习新单词，充分激活和调动学生已有的英语学习经验、体验和知识，在教师的引导下，发挥已有的英语学习的经验、体验和知识在学习英语生词时的正迁移作用。
2.通过师生交流，同桌互助，自读自学等方式来学习课文。 五、教学准备
多媒体课件、教学光盘、单词卡片、足球等。 六、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in
1.T: Today we are going to learn M6 You can play football well. (Read the title together)
Look at this picture, what do you know or what do you want to know from this picture?
Ss: What are they talking about?
Can they play football well? Where are they? 鼓励学生提问并解决问题。不能回答的问题留在听读课文后解决。 2. Listen to the tape, find the answer to these questions. 3. 学习tea-teach-team
出示四幅图分别为：a football team a basketball team
a badminton team a ping-pong team
师引导学生说： I want to be in _________.
过渡：What team does Lingling want to be in? Please read the passage and find the answer. Let’s listen to the tape and find the answer.
Step 2 Learn the new text.
第一层：分段听，理解课文，处理难点
1、T: Lingling wants to be in a football team, but what can Lingling do in a football team? Listen and answer the questions. Can Lingling run fast?
Can Lingling pass the ball well?
Listen to the paragraph one, and find what Lingling can’t do. 回答以上两个问题并转向学生。
Can you run fast? Can you pass the ball well? 请学生示范pass the ball, 并对其进行评价。
2、Listen to paragraph two, and find what Lingling can do. a. Listen and find the answers. b. Explain the important points. jump really high （做小活动，让学生体会并学习这个词组） be good at catch goalkeeper
3.Listen to paragraph three, and talk about it. fan I like Harry Porter. I’m Harry Porter fan. fantastic
第二层：细读课文 用自己的语言复述 4、Learn to read the text well. (1) Listen and repeat. (2) Read by yourselves.
(3) Read in roles and act it out. 5.Try to retell the text.
(1) Look at the board design, retell the text with the teacher. （2）Practice by yourself
(3) Choose two or three to retell. Step 3 Extension
第三层 领悟语言 编对话运用
1. Look at the teams, and think which team you want to be in.
2. Make a conversation with your partner. 3.Act out your conversation. Step 4 Homework 1. Read the text.
2. Write down the conversations.
