教材 分析
本单元以“Can you come to my party?”为中心话题，围绕“发出，接受，拒绝邀请”展开。学生能通过本单元的学习，掌握如何书写邀请函及其答复。本单元内容与实际生活息息相关，对初二的学生比较适合，是学生感兴趣的话题。
学情 分析 学生在七下学过由can引导的一般疑问句，并会对其进行肯定和否定回答。通过
本单元Section A的学习也掌握了一些接受和拒绝邀请的答语。通过2b,3a的学习，对书写邀请函和答复有了初步的了解。八年级的孩子不像七年级的时候爱表达，
但这一话题在生活中会用到，因此激励学生多说，使他们对英语有更深刻的感知。 教学 目标 1.学生能掌握书信和电子邮件的格式。
2.学生能仔细阅读邀请函后根据内容进行相应答复，并能在拒绝邀请时给出合适的理由。表达自己的歉意和惋惜。
3.让学生喜欢英语表达，将英语运用到生活，提高综合运用语言的能力。

“Christmas party”，邀请几位小明星到场。从而练习Can you come to my party?句型及接受和拒绝的答语。 Play a game.

Talk about some ways how to accept and refuse an invitation,then show.（Read)
Step3. While-writing
Show three invitation letters of the Christmas party and ask a student to send them to each group,let students read the invitation carefully and teach them to write a reply according to the invitation which they received.(Teacher uses mind-map to show students the form of an e-mail and how to write.)

Step 4. Post-writing:
Each team choose a student to share with us,then give comments，and find some mistakes. If necessary,we can find some good sentences,and write them down. Ask students to correct them with their neighbors. Then hand in the paper.

Master the ways how to accept and refuse an invitation and how to write an e-mail.
Step6. Homework
Write an invitation to a party or any other event. Use the following words and phrases： would like to; will be; after this; please; reply
