⒈ 语言知识目标:
⑴ 能够听懂、会说、认读本课的句型: What's this? It’s a.... 并在情境 中正确运用。
⑵ 能够听懂、会说、认读本课的单词:duck, dog, bear. ⒉ 语言能力目标:
⑴ 能够在图片、实物或情境的帮助下运用句型“ What's this? It’s a.... ”询问并回答动物的名称。
⑵ 能够听懂、会说感叹语“Oh!”,并在实际情境中恰当运用。 ⑶ 能够听懂、理解对话的意义并能用正确的语音语调朗读对话。
⑷ 能够结合已有的语言知识创编与动物主题(农场、动物园、马戏团)相关的 对话。 ⒊ 情感态度目标:
⑴ 培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。 ⒋ 学习策略:
⑴ 注重交际功能, 学会观察、提问等策略。
【学情分析】
小学三年级学生刚开始接触英语,通过半学期的学习,初步具备基本的听、
说、读能力。在学习的过程中有很强烈的学习欲望和兴趣,而且本课的主题是与动物相关,学生们更乐于参加到教学活动中来,因此可在教学中充分利用他们喜爱小动物的情感, 并采用灵活多样的教学方法引导他们逐步完成教学任务,从而掌握重难点知识。
【教学重点】
1. 掌握本课三会的单词。
【教学难点】
1. 熟练运用句型“ What's this? It’s a.... ”来询问和回答动物。 2.可以设计并表演一个和动物(农场、动物园、马戏团)相关的对话。
【教学过程】
Ⅰ.Warm-up
Activity 1: Greeting.
Activity 2: Sing a song“Old MacDonald”. Activity 3: Free talk. T: Do you like animals?
Which animal do you like? (I like....)
【设计意图】课堂伊始,教师带着学生歌唱一首与动物相关的歌曲, 其间穿插模仿动物的动作,调动学生积极性, 快速激活课堂。接着教师提出与课题相关的问题自然进入主题。
Ⅱ.Presentation:
Activity 1: Enjoy a video about animals.
T: There are many animals on the earth. Let's have a look.
【设计意图】教师播放自制动物世界视频,边看边说出动物的名字,激发学生参与课堂的主动性。 Activity 2: Topic.
T: Do you like these animals? Today let's talk about “Animals”. (Blackboard-writing) Activity 3:Assessment.
T: Today the rabbit and the turtle are going to have a race. You are Team Rabbit . You are Team Turtle . Answer my questions and move step by step. Let's PK,. Which group can get the trophy, OK? (Blackboard-writing)
【设计意图】评价方式:龟兔赛跑 (全班分两组), 奖励:移动步数,直至获得奖杯。设计与动物相关的评价,更加贴近主题。 Activity 4:Learn the dialogue.
1. Q: What can you see in the picture?
【设计意图】看图让学生先预测本课的学习重点,对即将学习的知识有一个初步了解。
2. CAI the first time.
T: Wu Yifan and Mike are my friends. They love animals, too. They
are making animals with their hands on the wall. Now Let's watch and find out“ Q: How many animals can you see?”(CAI) 3. CAI the second time.
Q: What are they? (They are duck, dog and bear.)
【设计意图】播放对话整体感知文本材料,学生带着问题观看对话,尝试理解并且回答问题,同时也锻炼了听力。 4. Words.

【设计意图】通过跟读、拼读、表演读、竞猜(动物的叫声、喜爱的食物、爪印、尾巴)等方式让学生掌握新单词的正确发音和意思。环节设计层层深入,具有多样性。
5.Sentence patterns.
Q: What's this? (Blackboard-writing) A: It's a .... (Blackboard-writing) (1) Read after teacher. (2) T asks, Ss answer.
(3) Make sentences. Act, ask and answer in pairs.
【设计意图】教师首先出示一个鸭子图片,用新句型来提问,引导学生回答后板书句型。在跟读几遍后,掌握句子的发音,继而出示狗和熊图片,通过师问生、生生互问的方式进行练习巩固。 6.Read the dialogue.
(1) Listen and read the dialogue. (2) Read together. (3) Practice in pairs. (4) Role play and PK.
【设计意图】用听音跟读、齐读、同桌读、PK读等方式使学生完全掌握文本内容,同时也可以对学生认读进行再检测,还可以增加学生读书的语感。
Ⅲ.Practice.
Activity 1: Play a game. 1.Table turning.
【设计意图】设计一个转盘游戏,在转盘上配有十个动物的图片和单词,将知识面扩展,不局限在课本上仅有的三个动物上。组织学生上台来玩,对句中的重要信息进行随机替换练习,帮助学生更深一步的掌握这句型的使用方法,同时扩充了词汇量。 2. Pair work.
【设计意图】由于上台玩转盘游戏有人数的局限性,所以在课件中也专门进行展示,组织学生进行同桌练习,这样全班都可以参与到这个活动中来。学生边做边猜,兴趣很浓。由于适当增加的难度拓展了学生思维的方向,充分激活学生的词库,把自己会说的动物都加入其中来猜。
Ⅳ.Production.
Activity 1: Make a dialogue. (Group work) A. On the farm. B. At the zoo. C. The circus.
【设计意图】在前面练习的铺垫之下,教师为学生提供更加丰富的创编对话的素材,紧接着为学生创设三个与动物相关的情境。学生结合自身实际和本课所提供的语言支架大胆创编,学用结合,实现知识的迁移和提高综合语言运用水平。 Activity 2: Moral.
1.T: Look, there are four flags of four countries. Can you guess, what country is it? ( China / England / Russia / Thailand ) Here are four animals, what are they? ( elephant / lion / panda / bear ) China's representative animal is panda. How about England / Russia / Thailand?
【设计意图】让学生了解不同国家的代表动物,拓宽国际视野。 2. Protect animals video.
T: Everybody knows there are many animals on the earth. But do you
know there are more and more endangered animals? Let's have a look. All of these animals are endangered, so we should protect them. More and more children protect the animals. We should do
that too.
【设计意图】让学生观看自制世界濒临灭绝动物的视频,告诉他们世界各地的很多学生都加入到保护动物的活动中来,我们也应该这么做。培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。 3.Poster.
T: Now take out your animal card, stick the animal which you want to protect on the poster.
T: "Love animals, love our friends."
【设计意图】制作一张自己想要保护的动物卡片,写上这个动物的名字,展示到世界动物环保机构的海报上。锻炼学生的动手与书写能力。
Ⅴ.Class closing Activity 1: Homework.
(1) Design a zoo, draw some animals and write the words. (2) Think: How to protect the animals?
【设计意图】用多媒体列出家庭作业。让学生画一画、写一写自己知道的动物,并思考如何才能保护动物?将课堂中所学的知识延展到课后,并通过思考引导学生在实际生活当中保护动物行为。 Activity 2: Assessment.
Count the stickers, and find out the winner. 【设计意图】优胜小组评选。让学生体验成功的乐趣。 Activity 3: Sing a bye-bye song.
