教学设计
1. 教材内容分析。
Module 8 以“毕业”为话题,展示了一篇在毕业典礼上的演讲稿,具有鲜明的演讲词的特点。Unit 2 是一个以读、写技能训练为主的课型。教学中应特别重视教学活动的设计,本堂课以毕业为主题,因此结合教材内容特点设计多个移情活动,让学生交流感受,回顾以往,展望未来,活动设计突显真实性。 2. 学情分析。
九年级的学生经过长时间的英语学习,积累了一些基础的词汇和句型,另外,本模块的语言点对学生来说不是很难,话题接近生活,学生对“毕业典礼”非常感兴趣,也想借这个平台表达自己,有着强烈的表达欲望,因此大多数学生能够积极参与到学习活动中来。 3. 教学目标。 3.1 知识与技能: a. Key vocabulary

Enable the students to learn the ways of making a speech. Enable students to write a speech at a school leavers’party.
3.3 情感态度与价值观:培养学生的感恩之情,能够表达对他人的谢意。
4. 教学重点与难点。 4.1 Important points :
To learn some expressions in the passage.
To use of “give up, try one’s best, not only …but also”. 4.2 Difficult points : To retell the speech . To write a simple speech . 5. 教学环境及资源准备。

本课为读写课,根据教材分析,学情分析和教学目标,本课的教学主要以情境教学法、任务型教学法为主,以试听教学法、互动教学法为辅,充分利用各种媒体资源辅助教学,增加教学的直观性和趣味
性。从学生聆听毕业歌到自然过渡到 free talk 作为导入。通过观看视频,小组合作,复述演讲词,简写演讲稿,毕业留言一系列师生互动和生生互动等活动方式,学生产生由观察、倾听、理解到运用的变化,从而内化语言知识和技能,促进教学目标的达成。 7. 教学过程。 7.1 第一学时 7.1.1 板书设计

Step 1 . Lead -in ( 5 mins )
1. Play a music, enjoy a song and talk about the photos, ask and answer. ( 3 mins) (播放毕业歌) T: Do you like music ? ( Yes. )
Listen , can you tell me what the name of the song is ? Ss: …(Graduation song )
T: Look at my photos .(出示毕业典礼照片)Guess, What are the photos about ?
Ss: It is about “graduation ” / “school-leavers’ party” . ( 出示单词照片: graduation , school-leavers’ party )
(使用白板资源音标词典功能:“graduation”,学生跟读 ) 2. Let students look at the pictures and ask students to answer questions . ( 2 mins )
1) How many days are left before you leave school ?
(出示中考倒计时图片)
2) Will you have a school-leavers’ party ? 3) What will you say at the party ?
T: Good answers. Now, there is a girl making a speech at the school- leavers’ party. Let’s see what she speaks.(点击超链接flash) Step 2. Pre-reading. ( 6 mins )
Ask students to watch flash and then answer the questions . (flash 3 mins) (播放单机网络版教学光盘,学生边观看视频,边听课文读音) Q1 : Choose words to describe the speech. (使用工具栏魔法棒的桃心)

Let students read the passage and finish the following tasks.( 3 mins) Task 1 : Fast reading: fill in the blanks. ( 2 mins)
Say the three things the speaker has learnt, what the speaker has learnt from each group of people.

Task 2: Skimming: choose the main idea for each paragraph. ( 2 mins) (Ways: 1. Don’t try to read every word.
2. Look through the text quickly to get the main idea. ) a: the reason why she thanks teachers.
b: to call on everyone to say thanks. c: to be proud to give the speech. d: the reason why she thanks parents. e: the reason why she thanks friends.
f: to thank three groups of people. Task 3: Careful reading. Translate the sentences one paragraph by one paragraph, then explain the difficult points, and make sentences with them .( 8 mins)

1. Show an invitation of school-leavers’ party . T: Do you want to attend a school-leavers’ party ? Would you like to make a speech at the party ?
Next month we will have a school- leavers’ party. One of you will be chosen to be the speaker. Now , talk about if you are chosen, what will you say at your school-leavers’ party ?
Think over the following questions,begin with “Dear my teacher\ mother\ father\ classmates\friends „”
Questions : How will you feel at the school-leavers’ party ? What are you going to show for your teacher\ parents„?

Graduation is coming ! I will give you some words: I hope you will win ! I am sure you will win ! I believe !
(教师把这两句祝福手写到屏幕中的留言册图片中) 2. Let’s say together: “I hope I will win ! I am sure I will win !” (学生一起为自己祝福。)
