一:教材分析: Li Ling 本节课的内容是新目标人教版三年制九年级unit4 I used to be afraid of the dark SectionA第三课时Grammar focus4a—4c的内容,是一节语法课。经过两年的英语学习,学生有一定的英语基础,但也会有学习英语的困难,如在句式和英语语法的掌握上会有疑惑。 二:掌握句型: 1. She used to be shy, didn’t she?
2. Did you use to play the piano? Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. 3. They didn’t use to like reading.

He used to be afraid of the high places. 同时训练学生的听说能力,阅读能力及写作能力。我根据教材的特点及学生的学习程度,我设计如下教学目标. 三:知识目标:
1. 通过学习能熟练说出本单元的功能话题 used to 用法,
它的否定及一般疑问句的变化。
2. 本节课的话题贴近学生生活,让学生在任务了解知识,
学习知识,掌握知识,最终达到学以致用的效果。
教学设计:(Teaching Plan)
一. Knowledge Objects
1. Function: Talk about what you used to be like. 2. Target Language:
(1) You used to be short, didn’t you?
--- Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. ( 2) Did he use to wear glasses? Yes, he did. / No, he didn’t. (3) I used to be afraid of the dark. 二.Ability Objects
1.Enable students to talk about appearances and personalities by using “used to”
2. To learn to grasp and use the structure “used to + be/ verb” in statements , negations and questions. 三. Moral Objects
Don’t judge a person only by his appearance We should dare to outdo our past self. Teaching Key Points

1. Learn and master the structure “used to +be/do” in
statements , negations and questions.
2. To understand the passages, practice how to talk about

Teaching Procedures
Step1. Review
Free talk T: I am tall and thin. I have short curly hair. What do you look like? S1: I am….. I have …… S2. I am ….. I have….
Step2. Look at the picture. And say it like this.
T: I used to be short and outgoing , I used to have long straight hair. Now I am tall and quiet , I have short blonde hair. Ask the students to practice it quickly and frequently. Step3 Brain Storm:
Ask the students to red the Brain Storm and practice in pairs. In order to understand the structure better, have students make up more sentences to talk about what he / she used to be like and used to do .
Step4: Have students read and remember the sentences in Grammar Focus by themselves, and then have them sum up the declarative sentences, negative sentences and
interrogative sentences of “used to”.
Step5. Exercise. Present some exercises and ask students to do it.

写作能力和阅读能力的培养。能有效利用本节课知识点,捕捉重要功能语言完成文章,同时能准确表达“ 我们怎样改变了”,从外形,性格,喜好及心理的变化。 五.教学的重难点:
1. Used to 的否定及一般疑问句变化形式。
2. 用 used to 正确表达自己及朋友,家人的近几年变化。 六. 过程与方法:
通过教师创设与学生生活贴近的情景,如“猜猜过去的我是什么样?”从形象描述自己的变化 ,让学生在感受,理解,体验的基础上,带着浓厚的兴趣,积极主动的参与到本节课课堂教学活动中,有老师的诱导,有学生的互动,互助,让学生真正体验学习英语的快乐。 七.情感态度与价值观:
强化学生的合作意识,让他们明白要勇于改变,改变不好的学习及生活习惯,让自己成为一个更加优秀的人。 八.教材的整合:
本节课是一节语法课。我从一开始,先从自己的变化开始直入话题 used to 。从易到难,每个任务的设置都是为本节课重点句式used to 服务。讲练结合,活动的设计都是为后面的写作打下坚实的基础。达到学以致用的目的。
