教学指导思想与理论依据:
新课程理念将写作教学的重点放在培养学生写作过程中的认知能力和策略运用上,不仅重视学习结果,更重视学习过程,培养学生的写作习惯,提升学生的写作技巧,倡导写作教学过程中学生的主体地位,即,体验、实践、参与、合作与交流,使学生实现“准确表达”“流畅表达”“自如表达”的渐进目标。
教学背景分析:
本单元以 “How we have changed” 为核心话题,编排了一系列凸现“交际功能(talk about what they used to be like)”的听说读写综合语言活动。本节课主要围绕写作任务How I've changed 展开写作学习,写作课是这一单元知识的集中体现和升华,在这些语言活动中,融入大量used to的语句,使学生学会运用used to 结构,以及运用friendly, shy, outgoing, serious, funny, quiet, tall, short, straight, active 等形容词来描述自己和他人的外貌、性格等变化,引导学生关注自己、他人、家庭、学校等变化和发展,比较自己的过去和现在,努力改掉坏习惯,塑造健康的品格,培养良好的爱好。
教学目标: 1.知识目标:
(1)能熟练运用 used to 短语描述自己外貌、性格、爱好等方面的变化。 (2)能正确运用一般现在时态和一般过去时态进行今昔对比。
(3)能够掌握写作要领,学会运用连词美化文章,能够运用本单元的语言知识完成How I've changed 的写作。 2.能力目标:
(1)提高学生描述变化的表述能力(2)提高学生的写作技能。
3.情感目标:
通过今昔对比,感受人和事物的发展和变化,正确对待成长变化。 教学重点: 掌握句型
1.I used to be / do ... but now I... 2.The biggest change is that... 3.This is the most important change.
教学难点:如何完成How I've changed 的写作。 教学过程: Step 1 Greetings
T: How time flies ! It has been three years since we met each other.We have changed a lot in appearance,personality and hobbies. Step 2 Lead in.
1.Can you describe Miss Chen's changes?
2.Which change is the most important one for Miss Chen?
(设计意图:教师通过展现自己的照片,过去穿过的T恤,现场弹唱吉他,与学生近距离互动,引导学生谈论老师过去与现在外貌,性格,爱好等方面的变化,激发学生的学习兴趣,激活学习氛围,对变化展开话题.) Step 3 Pre-writing
Task 1 Watch a video about the students to see the changes.Look at some photos, then find out the changes. Task 2 Ask and answer the students :
1)What did you use to be like in the past? 2)What are you like now?
(设计意图:丰富多彩的视频内容,充分的吸引了学生的注意力,这一部分旨在
帮助学生创设学习情境,回顾过去时光,回忆自己有哪些改变,为完成写作部分做铺垫.)
Task 3 Group work.
1.Discuss with your partner:How we've changed. A: What did you use to be like?
B: Oh, I used to be short and thin, A: What are you like now?
B: I am taller and stronger now.
A:Which change is the most important one for you?
B:The biggest change in my life was that I didn't play computer games any more...
A:How it happened ?
B:I realized it was a waste of time, I must study hard now...
2.Record the results on the card, then let 's role play it,Ask some students to act it out .
(设计意图:引导学生运用本节课重点句型和小组成员讨论身边人和事物的变化,鼓励学生大胆展现小组情景剧,活跃课堂氛围,调动学生的积极性,培养学生的创新精神和实践能力,巩固语言知识,积累写作素材,为写作打好基础。) Task 4 播放微课:总结 used to 的用法
(设计意图:教师课前制作精美而有趣的微课视频,总结“ used to ”的用法 运用本节课重点句型结构,帮助学生总结语法,活跃课堂氛围,调动学生的积极性,同时巩固语言知识,积累写作素材,为下面的写作做好铺垫。) Step 4 While-writing Task 1 Finish the writing
(1) Analyze the writing task to find out the person, tense, paragraph, content.
(2)Write your own composition. Task 2.
1. Share some compositions then point out the linking words should be used and some better sentences are necessary.
2. Discuss how to say better, then how many linking words can be used in your composition.
Task 3. 1.Ask some students to check their compositions . 2.Beautify and correct the compositions with their group mates (设计意图:以上写作任务通过分析到写作再到美化和修订作文,旨在帮助学生学会把握写作步骤,以便顺利完成写作任务。 Step 5 Post-writing
The great changes have brought us a lot of happiness the road of growth, full of youth;
the road of growth, playing the notes of summer;
the road of growth, revealing the joy of autumn; the road of growth, singing the deep and pure winter.
(设计意图:通过今昔对比,感受人和事物的发展和变化,正确对待自身的成长,并对变化做出正确的评判。) Step 6.Homework.

课后反思:
写作课是这一单元知识的集中体现和升华,应该对学生提出更高的要求,设计的内容要更开放,思路拓展要更宽,我以“成长的历程”为教学主题,通过对学生“听说读写”各项技能的训练,使学生能准确的描述人物过去的外貌、性格、行为以及成长经历,通过设置对人生改变的讨论活动,关注身边的人、事物、环境的改变,培养学生积极健康的心态,明白事物是不断发展变化的道理,极大地激发了学生参与语言实践的兴趣和动机。
在今后的教学工作中我将继续不断学习,努力钻研教材,研究教学方法,促进学生全面发展.为英语教学贡献自己的力量.
