2学情分析
1. 这节课的话题是电影,是九年级的学生比较熟悉的话题。但部分学生对英文电影并不熟悉,大部分学生对文章所提及的电影尤其是纪录片不大了解。 因此,有必要将文章所提到的电影片段稍作展示,让他们对这些电影有个直观认识。
2. 3a是一篇250字的短文,需要学生利用所学的阅读策略,如跳读和寻读等进行信息的收集和整理。
3. 通过阅读短文,观察短文里包含定语从句的句子,学生将进一步认识定语从句的构成,并分辨关系代词that, which, who的用法。这部分的教学尝试使用微课视频展示。

重点:
1. 分步骤阅读短文,掌握文章大意及细节信息。
2. 学会区分定语从句中关系代词who, that, which的用法。
难点:
1. 能流利地朗读短文。
2. 能完成阅读理解题目。

活动1【导入】介绍课题
1. 课前观看电影《泰坦尼克号》主题曲MV,师生谈论对这部电影的看法。
2. 介绍本节课的课题 Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.( Section A 3a-3c)。
3. 介绍一个新朋友并认识他的情绪,学习新单词down。从他的情绪中引出问题: What do you do when you feel down/bored?学生会回答:play games, play sports, listen to music, watch movies…由此引出下列阅读前的活动。
活动2【活动】读前活动
1. 玩大风吹游戏:所有学生站起来,听到教师念以下含有定语从句的句子,符合情况的学生坐下去。听到最后一个句子,所有学生基本上都会坐下去。
The big wind blows to everyone who wears glasses/has long hair/is taller than Ms Deng/wears black shoes/has short hair/loves Ms. Deng
2.说关于音乐的句子。一列8个学生谈论自己喜欢的音乐:I prefer music that …教师展示书上出现的关于音乐的句子,全班齐读。
3. 说关于电影的句子。一列8个学生谈论自己喜欢的电影:I prefer movies that …教师展示书上出现的关于电影的句子,全班齐读。然后引出下一个要学习的短文题目:What Do You Feel like Watching Today?
活动3【活动】读中活动
1. 第1遍阅读:快速阅读,回答问题:How many movies are mentioned in 3a?学生将通过看短文中的斜体字快速找出答案为5部。
2. 第2遍阅读,回答两个问题What are their names?和What kind of movies are they?,并将答案填写在表格里。检查第一个问题的答案后,立刻播放电影预告片的片段,让学生对这部电影有个直观的认识,由此也可判断电影类型。 看完后,学生要用简短的句子描述这些电影,如a happy ending, funny dialogs, a documentary provides plenty of information about a certain subject, superhero just saves the world in time。这其实也是理解重点词汇的过程。之后,学生朗读电影的名字和新单词,确保后面能流利朗读短文。
3. 第3遍阅读,完成表格中的description words。
4. 第4遍阅读,选择能完成句子的最佳选项。
