教学目标
1.Knowledge targets: Ss will be able to master the following words and expressions: train, .bus, bike, subway, get to school, take the subway/
bus/train, ride a bike, walk to school and etc,.
2. Ability targets: Ss will be able to enhance their oral and listening skills with the target language.
3. Emotion targets: Ss will understand the differences of transportation means caused by different culture and they can build their confidence.
2学情分析
 Students of grade 7 have been learning English for more than 4 years. They have a good foundation in words and simple sentences. The 
activities of this class designed are close to the reality, students are enthusiastic and interested in speaking English.
3重点难点
1. Key points:Curricular words and expressions about transportation means..
2. Difficult points:Ss can familiar with how-questions.
                     A:   How do you get to school?
                     B: I take the …/ride …/ walk to school.
                     A:How does Mary get to school?
                     B: She takes the…/rides … /walks to school.
                     A: How long does it take to school?
                     B: It takes about 10 minutes.
                     A: How far is it from your home to school?
                     B: It is about 10 kilometers.

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Lead-in
Greeting to Ss
T: Good morning, class.
S: Good morning. Teacher
T: How are you today?
S: I’m fine, thanks. And you?
T: I’m fine ,too. thank you. Welcome to our class. Today we are going to learn unit3 how do you get to school section A (1a—2d)
T: This unit ,we are talk about transportation.  Let the students see a movie and answer the questions for the lead-in.
活动2【讲授】Presentation
 play a game.listen and guess what transportation it is.through in this way .Learn some new  curricular  words and phrases, let the
students look at the pictures on the screen, and  then read in unison. Try to memorize  them . Then the teacher asks and  writes 
down the sentence” How do you get to school?” on the blackboard. Help the students take the answers, for instance,the phrases: 
“take the subway, take the train, ride a bike, on foot .”
活动3【活动】step3
Present four pictures of transportation on the screen,Let the students imitate the dialogue which may deepen their knowledge of 
transportation means, for example:
       A: How do you get to school?
       B: I ride/take…to school.
         =I get to school by…

Show a picture in 1a.  I’ll ask the students about how do people get to school, then the students give their answers with the target language in this lesson. 
A: How does he/she get to school
B:He/She takes/rides to...
B:He/She gets to school by...

Work on 1a.
        Ask the students to complete 1a, then check the answer with them.
活动6【讲授】step6 Listening
Work on 1b
       Play 1b, let the students to complete 1b, then check the answers. And then let the students listen and imitate some other 
 dialogues, which may be effective in fostering their interest and improving listening skills

Divide Ss into seven groups,and then work in groups to practice conversation by using target language.finally. let students 
show them then give them prize.

 Pair work
       Ask two students to  read the conversation on the slide, then let the student practice in pairs. After that, ask them to practice in groups like 2d

Before reading the role play. I wil let students watch a short video about two students,then read the conversation by tape .finally,
students can finish the chart

work in pairs.and role play by using target language.like this:

B: I take .... to....
A: How long does it take to....
B: It takes about ......minutes
A: How far is it from..... to....
B: It is about......kilometers
