本课的话题是Life in the future。本课的功能主线是:Describe your future life。
功能点是:study, housing, free-time activities and environment
2学情分析
处于青春期的初二学生好奇好胜,喜欢与同伴相处,希望得到他人的肯定,但个体之间、认知水平均存在差异,因此本节课将采用小组合作学习的方式,包括小组讨论、小组竞赛、小组展示等形式,以达到小组成员互助互促的目的。
3重点难点
教学重点:
因为本节课是复习课,因此所定的教学内容以4个功能点所辐射出的词汇和句型为主。基于此目的,将本节课的重点学习内容定为:
3个词汇:fewer,less,more
2组句型:There will be…. There won’t be….
People will …. People won’t ….
教学难点:
1.在词汇方面,fewer,less,more在运用上,不少学生还是较易混淆,因此需要大量地操练和记忆活动来帮助学生掌握。
2.在句型方面,There will be…. There won’t be….的句型,学生常用中式思维来翻译,因此需要大量的操练和记忆,运用各种活动(朗读、记忆游戏、记时游戏等)来帮助学生掌握并准确运用。

Step 1 Fluent speaker (15 min)
Practice the sentence patterns in four aspects.

Students talk about their predictions in four aspects with WORD BANK.
Step 2 Creative thinking (8 min)
Invite students to write down the creative sentences in four aspects on the white board. Then share them with the whole class.
Step 3 Task--- Imaginative mind (Our future life)
Groupwork: Describe your future life
1. Write down the phrase or sentences
S1: Beginning (topic sentence)
S2: Body1---Study
S3: Body2---Housing
S4: Body3---Free-time activities
S5: Body4---Environment
S6: Ending (feelings or ideas)
2. Show your predictions about the future life
