T:Hello, boys and girls. I’m very glad to meet you here.
Yesterday, I came to Xiangyang. And I watched some of my favorite
TV shows at night. Do you like watching TV? Step 3. Revision
1.T:Let’s enjoy some TV shows. While watching TV, ask the students to jump and say the kinds of the TV shows, such as talent show, soap opera, game show, sitcom, sports show and news .
2.T:What kind of TV shows do you like?
Ask three to five students to tell us their favorite TV shows. (This part will help the Ss to revise what they learned in the last lesson. The interesting TV shows will arouse the interest of the students in English.) Step 4. Presentation

Teach the Ss to read the new words 3 times. Get the Ss to practice in groups.

Check answers. Choose a group. The members retell the conversation one by one.

will help practice listening. And it will make them more confident in class.)
3. Role-play the conversation.
T:Look, Grace and Sarah like watching TV, too. They may talk about TV shows at school.
Task1:Read the conversation quickly and answer two questions. ①What are they discussing?
②What kind of TV shows do their classmates like?

Check the answers.
Task2:Read again. Fill the chart and give us a report. Task3:Listen and repeat.
Task4: Role-play the conversation with your partner and act it out.

T:I know you love watching TV so much. Let’s watch TV tonight. But we only have one TV. What should we do? What kind of TV shows do your group plan to watch? Discuss in your groups.
