教学目标
1. 能听懂,用正确语音语调朗读课文,并理解课文大意。
2. 能听懂目标语句What's his/her name?询问朋友姓名 并用His/Her name is..做出回答。
3. 能在思维导图帮助下,有逻辑的描述一位朋友。
2学情分析
四年级的学生对英语学习兴趣浓厚,具有词汇学习的能力,能积极参与课堂教学活动,表现欲望强烈。小组合作意识已经初步形成。
3重点难点
教学重点:
能够在语境中理解生词his, her,friendly, strong的意思,并能正确发音;能够在情景中运用句型What’s his/her name? His/Her name is … 询问并回答某人的姓名,并能在情景中恰当运用功能句He’s/She’s … He/ She has ...描述人的外貌特征。
教学难点:
能在思维导图帮助下,有逻辑的描述朋友。

活动1【导入】Lead-in
一、Let's chant
1. Listen to a chant. What's the chant about? It's about _______.
2. Show pictures of Tim and Lily.
What's his name? He is _________.
What's her name? She is _________.
(用Let's chant 引入话题friends, 同时活跃课堂气氛。借用chant里的两位人物,提问What's his/her name? 引导学生回答,并做适当描述,复习形容词。)
二、Free talk
Who's your friend? What's his/her name?
活动2【讲授】Presentation
一、Listen and answer
T: John has a new friend. Let's listen and find Who is John's new firend.

二、Listen again and finish

(让学生听感知课文大意,逐步找出课文信息。)
三、Talk about Zhang Peng
