教学目标
教学目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读词汇: writer, sick, people, factory, cook, driver, farmer, policeman
2.能听懂、会说、会读句型:What does your father/mother do? What do they do?及其回答。
3.能够运用本课重点句型和词汇进行交际。
4.能正确理解并朗读课文,并根据提示尝试复述课文内容。
5.能够熟练表达父母的职业和工作内容,激发学生热爱和尊重父母职业的情感。
2学情分析
五年级学生已经掌握了teacher、cook、nurse、doctor等职业类词汇,只有policeman和driver这两个职业类单词是生词,因此词汇方面难度不大。另外孩子们对于职业的问答已经有一定基础,能听懂:What's your job?这样的问句。而且我班学生已经养成了提前预习的好习惯,对于职业这个话题也比较感兴趣。因此可以比较好的围绕这个话题进行交际。
3重点难点
教学重点:
句型:What does your father/mother do? What do they do?及其回答。
词汇:driver, policeman等职业类词汇及sick, factory。
教学难点:
重点句型的用法。
sick, factory, writer等词的读音和用法。
does, teaches, makes等动词第三人称单数形式的读音及其用法。

1. Talk about the title.
Today we’ll learn :Unit5 What do they do? What is this question about?—Jobs.
2. Brain storm: What jobs can you name?
3. A guessing game.
People do all kinds of jobs in the city or in the country. Can you look at the outlines and guess the jobs?
活动2【讲授】Step2: While-reading
一.Read and answer.
1. Who are these children? Mike and Su Hai.
2. Whose jobs do they talk about? Read the story and find out.
二.Read and understand.
1. This dialogue is not complete. Let’s read the story and find out the answers.
Part 1: 1. What does Mike’s father do? Why?
2. Whose parents or family are teachers? Introduce them.
3. Read and imitate.
