1.  能够听、说、读、写句子:How can I get there? Turn left at the bookstore. Then turn right at the hospital.并能在情景中进行运用。
2. 能够理解掌握三会单词:interesting, Italian, restaurant, pizza, street, get。
2学情分析
学生在本单元的A部分已学过Where is the ...? I t’s ....对于places有了初步的概念和兴趣,本课时学习问路和答语难度不大。
3重点难点
掌握句型How can we get to the ... ? Turn left/right at…能在情景中熟练运用。
4教学过程
4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学目标
1. 能够听、说、读、写句子:How can I get there? Turn left at the bookstore. Then turn right at the hospital.并能在情景中进行运用。
2. 能够理解掌握三会单词:interesting, Italian, restaurant, pizza, street, get。
4.1.2学时重点
:掌握句型How can we get to the ... ? Turn left/right at…能在情景中熟练运用。
4.1.3学时难点
1.What an interesting film!
2. The ....is on ...Street.
4.1.4教学活动
活动1【讲授】How can I get there 
 Step 1: Warm-up
. 1.Game.
 Let’s play a game.
(1)   Please show me your hands. Put up your right hand,left hand 通过游戏的方式教学left,right.
(2)   课件Is it left or right? 熟悉left/ right引出turn left/right.
(3)   I do, you say. 练习turn left/right.
(4)   I say, you do. 进一步练习turn left/right.
2. Sing a song.
Sing the song “Where is the hospital?:”
出示课件,Look at the picture, What places can you see?
 复习“bookstore, hospital, park, cinema”
Step 2: Presentation
1.  Present the new words.
Look at the house. We can see a knife and a fork. What do you think of ?
同时呈现新单词”Italian restaurant, pizza”
I’m hungry. Is there an Italian restaurant in Gongyi City?
课件Show a map of Gongyi. Ask “Where is the Italian restaurant?” “It’s next to KFC on Xinhua Street” 把教室变成一个小城市,练习Where is the …? “It’s…on Street.为引入Let’s talk做准备。
2. Game
You know I like Italian food.  How can I get to the Italian restaurant? Suppose I’m blind .Who’d like to help me? 在学生的帮助下找到the Italian restaurant 教师板书句型:How can 1 get to the…?  Turn left/right at…引出interesting, 看短片教学What an interesting film!
3.  Present Let’s talk
1.T: Just now Wu Yifan and Mike saw an interesting film. Where do they want to go now? Where is the place?
课件出示问题:
(1)   Where do they want to go now? 
(2)   Where is the place?
2. Listening
Ss listen and answer the question..
Step 3: Practice
1. Read by yourself
Ss read the conversation and answer the third question “H ow can Mike and Mike get  to the restaurant?”
2. Watch the video and repeat.
学生一边听录音一边跟读句子
3. Read in roles
把学生分成四人一组自由练习对话
Ss read the conversation in roles, try to show in their own ways.
4. Show
Show the conversation  in different ways.
请几组学生表演对话。教师注意从语音、语调、动作神态等多方面进行评价。
Step 4: Consolidation and extension
1.      Make your own conversation.
多媒体课件展示地图
Talk about the cinema or the restaurant you like. You can talk like this “ I like hamburgers. I want to KFC. How can I get there ?
2.      Work in groups.
教师将学生分成四人一组,运用句型I know ... How can I get to the ...? Turn left/right at ...分组进行交流讨论,最后请几组学生进行表演。
3.      Show in class.
让学生按多媒体课件中的模拟城市表演会话。
