活动1【导入】 sing a song
Old MacDonald Had a Farm
【设计意图:以歌曲导入,调动起学生对英语的学习兴趣,激起学生的积极性。】
活动2【讲授】Review the words about animals
T : Today is a nice day.I’m very happy.Let’s go to the zoo, OK?
Watch the animals.
T: What animals can you see?(课件出示8种动物,引导学生看)
【设计意图:以歌曲导入,调动起学生对英语的学习兴趣,激起学生的积极性。】
活动3【活动】Make riddles.
①T:I can see an animal.Guess,what is it ? It is big.Its nose is long.Its tail is short.
What is it ?
S: It’s an elephant. 板书elephant
【设计意图:教师创编一个关于动物的谜语,引导学生运用本单元的形容词。】
②T: Look! What’s this? Who can read it? It is small.It can fly.It lives in a tree.
Guess,what is it?
S: It’s a bird.
【设计意图:教师出示一个关于动物的谜语,让学生通过读体会本单元的形容词的运用。】
③T:Wow,so many animals .Can you make a riddle ? Ask students to make .

板书:monkey,snake,tiger,panda,bear,wolf.
T:How many animals are there?
S: There are seven.
活动4【讲授】Review Where they live.
T:But,Look! Are they happy ? Because they are lost.
Can you help them ? Let’s help them find their homes.
【设计意图:创设帮小动物找家的情境,调动学生学习的积极性。】

Where does a fish live ? A fish lives in a tree.

活动5【讲授】Review what they eat.
(1)Show the words.
T:The animals find their homes.They are very happy.
But,when they see it,they are very happy.Look,what is it?
S:A banana.
T:How many bananas are there?
S:There is one.
T:How many?
S:Four.

(2)Say the sentences.
①T:What do you want to say ?
S:Monkeys eat bananas.
T:Anything else?
S:Elephants eat bananas.
②let’s have a match.
T:So many food for animals.What animals eat grass?
What do cows eat?
S:Cows eat grass...
T:Let’s have a match.Two group.One group says one sentence one point.

活动6【练习】Fill in the blanks.
My favourite animal
(1)T:So many animals.I like monkeys. Why? Because monkey is
clever.This year is the year of the monkey.Look,this is a monkey.
(2) T:动物园里招导游,介绍你喜欢的动物看谁说的棒。小组内先说一说,选出说得最棒的来挑战。
(3)Show your favourite animal.
【设计意图:通过填空练习的引导,鼓励学生说说自己喜欢的动物,也是将本单元的重点词、短语和句型联系在一起,上升的篇章,让学生真实体验语言的运用。】
活动7【活动】小结
(1) 小结板书(归纳知识的一种方式,叫做思维导图)
(2) 出示思维导图
(3) These animals are at the zoo.Their favourite home is forest.
【设计意图:引导学生利用思维导图,将单元重点知识进行归纳梳理。】
活动8【活动】情感渗透
T:Which picture do you like?Why?We should protect the animals ,the nature, and the earth.
