教学目标
1. Target language 目标语言:
expressions describing a place 掌握描述地点的词汇与表达
比如:nature reserve, vary from … to …, height, be home to
2. Ability goal 能力目标
Enable the students to appreciate a passage according to its writing style, structure and expressions, and to use the expressions to describe a tourist attraction. Cultivate the students’ sense of the logic in describing a place, as well as the skills in finding the needed information. Develop an awareness of cooperating with others, through which strategy they will do the task together and finish the writing.
让学生从文章的写作风格,篇章结构以及语言表达三方面学习该文章,并掌握其中漂亮的描述地点的表达,掌握描述一个旅游景点的能力。培养学生在描述地点时的逻辑思维,以及寻找所需信息的技巧;同时培养学生合作学习的意识,通过合作完成任务的方式获取相关的写作信息,从而完成写作任务。
2学情分析
学生经过高一高二两个学年的学习,已具备较丰富的词汇量,掌握基本的句型表达,能比较没有障碍地阅读一篇文章,相对熟练地表达自己的想法,并形成书面语言,但是,本单元自然环境的话题,对于学生来说依然是一个相当挑战的话题,无论是词汇、句式,都是对学生提出较高的要求,因而也更需要老师在信息输入与语言输出的组织安排上进行更为精心到位的处理。
3重点难点
选修六中的阅读与写作部分中,阅读是一篇介绍长白山的天池这个景点的文章,介绍了天池的地理位置、自然环境和景观,以及相关的传说,同时引入了景点相关的词汇表达,是一篇典型的信息输入载体。根据课程目标对于信息处理的阐述,写作是输出的过程,该课以阅读与写作相结合,让学生通过阅读后,模仿课文的表达,根据所提供的信息卡资料,合作完成一篇关于景点的介绍。
该课时的话题为:Write a similar description of another tourist attraction.
