《Module 6 Unit 1 Does it eat meat?》教学设计
一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明
1. 引入。首先以教师自我介绍，了解教师的基本信息引入到我最喜欢的动物的话题，并以熊猫作为铺垫激发学生爱护动物的情感。
2．词汇学习。通过竞争游戏“猜猜他们最喜欢的动物”来学习新的动物词汇和句型“Does it eat meat? Yes, it does./ No, it doesn’t.” 图片搭配单词环节继续学习词汇的复数，并注意它们的发音，插入课本语音学习环节。再以游戏挑战记忆力“哪些动物不见了”在课堂上强化学生记忆和反馈学生对于新词汇的掌握情况。
3. 听课本材料。首先完成听力活动1，勾出你所听得的单词。然后是根据课本第二个听力设计了几个问题，学生听然后回答问题。接下来是看动画做记录，填写动物所吃食物，教给学生写首字母的听力技巧。最后是跟磁带朗读，模仿语音语调。
4. 口语输出。口头复述导游的介绍。教师整合听力课本内容设计了一个对话情景，参观动物园，学生小组活动进行角色扮演，然后表演出来。
5. 总结。总结本课所学内容，并继续激发学生热爱保护动物的情感。
二、教学背景
1. 教学内容分析：
七年级上册《Module 6 The trip to the zoo，Unit 1 Does it eat meat?》以“动物吃什么”为话题展开对话，帮助学生掌握一般现在时第三人称单数做主语的一般疑问句极其回答这个语法重点的运用；通过对话表演，把所学的知识运用到实际生活中来。这节课是一节听说课，在兼顾听力训练的同时，又侧重说的能力的培养。从Module7到Module 10一般现在时都是这几个单元学习的重点。本课通过北京动物园之行介绍动物吃什么以及认识世界各地的动物开展听说活动，使学生开阔眼界，增长知识，同时也为后面学习动物住在哪里做了铺垫。
2. 学生情况分析：
本课的主题是谈论动物及动物吃的食物,对七年级的学生来说比较有吸引力，学生很感兴趣，学生小学学过三年英语,对于吃的食物和简单的动物名称比较熟悉,适合开展教学活动!

Too many new words in part 3 may obstruct students from understanding, listening and acting it. Solutions:
Recycle and use the new words in different tasks.
五、课堂风貌设计（活动名称）
快乐课堂和“英语做事”课堂：
教师积极创设情境，巧妙导入课题。通过创设情境，调动和激发学生自主学习的情绪。在课堂中穿插了三个小组竞争活动— “猜猜他们最喜欢的动物”；“哪些动物不见了”；“小组活动，角色扮演”。这几个竞争活动都指向本节课的目标语言，能让学生在愉快的气氛中自觉地学习和运用语言。所以这既是快乐课堂也是用英语做事的课堂。
六、教学过程设计（方法、手段、意图）
Step 1 Lead-in and warming-up (3 minutes)
1. Introduce myself. Show students pictures to guess my favorite animal.
2. Show students some pictures to ask them to love and protect animals. We’ll have some competitions to raise money for animals.

Step 2 Presentation (7 minutes)

Step 3 Practice （5 minutes）
1. Get students match the animal words with the correct pictures.

Challenge your memory. Students will have 20 seconds to remember the animals, then tell us which animals are missing.

Step 6 Groupwork & Show Time ( 15 minutes )
Get Ss to role-play thedialogue on the paper. Work in groups of four. Or they can make their own dialogue using the vocabulary in the box. Then act it out. The teacher will show them how to do that first. Then they will have about 5 minutes to prepare for it.

( 意图：教师设计这个对话把本堂课的两个听力内容融合在一起，其实也是将37页上的两个小组活动整合在一起，给学生创设了真实的语言情景让他们表演，并给学生做出示范，然后让他们四人一小组进行对话练习，最后表演出来，达到让学生能够用所学语言知识进行口语应用和交际的目的。教师会及时地对小组的表现加以肯定，增强学生的信心，体验到合作学习的乐趣和成就感。)

七、教学评价
1. 评价内容：
本堂课教学目标明确，课堂教学活动都围绕教学目标进行，将教学目标贯穿于教学活动的始终，并具有趣味性，课堂气氛活跃，学生注意力集中。教师巧妙地创设情境，引入自然合理，符合初中低年级学生的心理特征，能调动大部分学生的求知欲与思维积极性，讲授的内容具有启发性，做到了突出重点，解决难点，循序渐进，层次清晰。所学内容贴近学生生活实际，学生课后能用英语谈论所喜爱的动物和它所吃的食物并提出相关问题，达到预期的教学目标。
2. 评价方法：
（1）情景交际法，让学生在真实的语境中运用语言知识，教师及时给予鼓励和肯定。 （2）小组竞争，培养学生的竞争意识。教师适时地给予激励。 （3）创造合作学习的机会，让学生体验合作的乐趣与成就感。
