Teaching aims:
1. Knowledge: To learn the new words about family members(parent,grandparent,uncle,aunt,cousin,daughter)and the demonstrative pronouns(this,that,these,those)
2. Ability: By learning the target language,the students can introuduce people.
3. Emotion : To love parents and love family and form an interest of learning English. Important points:

1. Talk about one’s family photo with the target language. 2. Understand the realitionshin in the family tree. Teaching procedure Step1.Greeting

Step2. Warming up and revision
1. Explain the meaning of the word—family.( father and mother I love you)
Step3. Presentation 1. Guessing Game T: Do you like games? S: Yes.
T: Let’s play a guessing game. Look at the screen. T:Who is your father’s father? S:Grandfather. ......
then show the words on the screen and ask the students to read them. 2.Show a family photo and review the target language. The teacher gives some examples and ask the students to follow. This is my mother… Step4. Practice
Ask the students to talk about their photos with the sentences they have learned in a group, Step5. Listening
Listen to the tape and finish the tasks.
T: Look at the two pictures in 1c. Who are the people in the first picture? Can you guess?
S: They are Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, Dad, Uncle …
T: Well done. Can you guess who the people are in Picture 2? S: They are Grandma, Mom, Dad and a boy.
T: Good. One of the pictures is of Jiang Tao’s family, and the other

在本节课既复习上一课学习的问候语,让同学敢于张嘴,同时引入family的新意,引入主题并让学生产生兴趣。通过图片教学,可以
更直观,更清晰地下设任务,促使学生在短时间内流利地说基本句型。 通过组内练习,鼓励学生走到台前介绍自己的家庭照片。同时,能说还能听的懂,这就达到乐这节课的学习目的了。体现学生综合应用英语的能力。
现代英语教学强调英语主体地位突出,即在各个活动中给不同程度的学生不同层次的任务,让各层面的学生都有表现发挥的机会,从而产生对英语的兴趣。使用照片图片多媒体来辅助教学,效果更好。让学生在学习新内容的同时加深对英语的兴趣和理解程度,尤其是口语表达方面,能够流利地表达是最高形式的输出。但就本节课而言,还应更加注意关注全体学生,争取每个人都有出彩的机会。
