1) Skim the passage for main idea.

2 Careful reading
1) Read part 1 and answer the questions.
1 Why does Jeff like reading books and study harder? 2 Is it easy for Jeff to make friends? Why? 3 Why do they like studying together?
2) Read part 2, find the differences and similarities.
(提示:通过构词法及反义词法猜出similarities的含义;在找不同点时应特别注意形容词的比较级;找相同点时要注意both, too ,as…as 这样的提示词)
