2. 学生能够理解Cartoon time并能有感情地朗读或表演。
3. 学生能够意识到父母在自己生命中的重要意义,学会感恩父母。
4. 在故事学习培养学生根据图片和语境来猜测故事内容的能力。

1. 学生能够运用所学的句型谈论Spring Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival。
2. 学生能够理解、有感情地朗读Cartoon time,并从故事学习中感悟如何感恩父母。

活动1【导入】Step1. Revision and lead in
1. Brain storm and quick response. (About festivals)
意图:通过Brain story调动学生的已知,活跃气氛;Quick response,全体学生参与复习所知道的节日。
2. Classify the festivals into Chinese festival and International festivals.
教给了学生关于节日的常识,同时顺利过渡到Checkout time所涉及的四个中国节日。
活动2【活动】Step2. Checkout time
1. About Double Ninth Festival
1) Read and guess.
意图:学生通过谜语复习了Double Ninth Festival的相关内容, 同时自然地引出谈论三个节日的问题。
When is the … festival?
What do people do at this festival?
What do people eat at this festival?
2) Ss repeat the questions.
2. About Dragon Boat Festival
1) Students try to ask some questions about Dragon Boat Festival.
意图:学生迁移刚学到的三个句型。
2) Make an information card according to the answers to the questions.
意图:根据学生的回答整合出端午节的信息卡,以另一张信息卡的形式过渡到第三个要谈论的节日:Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. About Mid-autumn Festival
1) Ask and answer in pairs.
意图:前面两个节日由老师引领进行谈论,第三个节日放手让学生做pair work进行交流,操练面涉及到全体学生。
2) Culture: Mid-autumn Festival is a holiday for family reunion.
意图:学习谈论节日是一方面,让学生了解节日背后的文化也很重要。同时通过家庭团聚这一话题很自然地过渡到春节,做到了无痕对接。
4. About Spring Festival
1) Ask and answer about the festival.
2) Say something more about it.
T: The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. Do you know why?
Because it means the beginning of a year. Before the Spring Festival, people often clean the house and buy new clothes.

意图:春节的活动是丰富多彩的,让学生基于生活经验交流一下春节其他的活动,能丰富学生的语言,达学以致用的目的。
活动3【讲授】Step3: Cartoon time

意图:引出故事主题,培养学生关注图片的习惯。

意图:培养学生的读图能力。

Group work: 四人一小组,每人完成其中的一幅图,完成后组内核对)
意图:每人完成其中的一幅图意在培养学生通过上下语境和图片猜测故事内容的能力,培组内核对意在养学生通过小组合作提高自主学习的能力

T: Father’s Day, Mother’s Day. There are many festivals. Do you know what my favourite festival is? Look. I show it on my Wechat. Let’s read it. So this is my favourite festival. What about yours?

意图:让孩子梳理本堂课的知识点以及自己内心的想法,写一篇小作文。将学生的表达能力提升到笔头。
