八年级英语备课组 【目标确定的依据】
1.课程标准相关要求: 通过电视节目这一话题,学会询问他人对某事或某物的看法,会讨论喜欢和不喜欢的事物。
2.教材分析
本单元的中心话题是“谈论个人的打算,及对某事物的看法意见”,具体涉及电视节目,时尚流行,以及学生围绕电视节目和时尚饰品谈论不同程度的喜好,并发表见解。语言技能和语言知识集合都是围绕“喜好”这一中心话题设计的。 3.学情分析:
本课时的教学内容围绕“电视节目”这一话题展开,此类话题贴近学生生活,因为容易被学生接受,学生也比较感兴趣。可以将所学的内容与实际相结合,使学生体会到学习英语的乐趣。
【学习目标】
1)读出并识记单词:news, educational, plan, hope, discussion, stand, talent show, learn …from…., plan/hope to do sth. 2)谈论各类电影和电视节目的名称。
3操练并运用句型: ---- What do you think of game shows?
---- I like them. / I love them. / I don’t like them. / I can’t stand them. /I don’t mind them. 【评价任务】
1. 通过识别图片、快速反应等活动完成目标1)

Greeting and Leading in 1. Daily greeting.
2. T:Ask Ss two questions:
Do you like to watch TV? Watch a short movie named Moana(海洋奇缘) What kind of TV program do you know? 3. T:Guide Ss to say some TV programs. Step2
Pre-listening Present new words:
1. T: Show some pictures of the TV shows on the PPT. 2. Let Ss match the TV shows with the pictures. 3. Lead students to learn some new words:
Talk show, soap opera, sports show, sitcom, game show, talent show, news 4. Ss try to grasp the meaning of these new words and remember them. 5. T: Check these words.
The teacher asks students to read these words together or one by one.
Pair work
1. Take 1c as the example, and let Ss practice the conversation in pairs. Then make their own conversation. For example:
A:What do you think of …? B :I … them / it.
Ask some pairs to show their conversations to the class.

While-listening Work on 1b
1. T : Let Ss look at the questions in 1b.

1. T: Let Ss listen the conversation in 2a again, and complete the sentence in 2b. 2. Let Ss find out the difficult point, and the teacher explain them. 3. The teacher should pay attention to the words’ spelling. 4. Ask Ss to read these sentences in 2b.

1. T: Take 2a as the example, and let Ss ask and answer questions about the TV shows using information that is true for you. For example:

Free Talk <group work>
1. T: Ask Ss to use the sentences we have learned to interview the partners about their favorite TV show.
2. Discuss their passage in groups each other.
3. The teacher should pay attention to the using of the phrases and grammars in that student’s passage.
