设计的基本理念:
根据《英语新课程标准》教学注重“工具性”和“人文性”统一的要求,学生通过英语课程掌握基本的英语语言知识,发展基本的英语听、说、读、写技能;学生通过英语学习能够开阔视野,丰富生活经历,形成跨文化意识。工具性和人文性统一的英语课程有利于为学生的终身发展奠定基础。
教材分析:
本单元以 Customs 为话题,谈论不同国家的不同文化习俗,渗透跨文化交际意识,使学生了解不同的文化习俗和不同的礼仪。语言学习需要大量的输入,丰富多样的课程资源有利于英语语言学习。本课时是一节写作课及复习课,通过复习在前几个课时学过的各国不同的见面礼来导入的基础上,结合学生实际情况,我对本节课教材进行了优化调整、补充删减,运用大量能调动学生积极性的资料,巧妙安排教学过程,逐步推进教学深度。
学生分析
九年级的学生,语言感知能力比较强,本单元话题customs能激起学生的好奇心,调动学生学习英语的积极性,培养他们主动探究认识世界的能力。使学生在语言能力、学习能力、文化品格、思维品质等方面都得以提升。
教学目标
《课程标准》中说:英语教学的目的是培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力,为用而学、在用中学、学了就用,因此我把本课的教学目标定为以下几个方面: 知识目标

句型:be supposed to be expected to It’s polite to… 技能目标
1.学生学会运用重点单词短语来组词成句,并且有逻辑地组句成篇。
2.学生能够总结、归纳、巩固、运用本单元的重点短语及句型表达不同的习俗。 情感目标
学习不同国家的习俗礼仪,尊重不同的文化,养成良好的习惯,做文明的人。 学习策略
1. 认知策略。注重学生的学前预习准备;在英语学习中集中注意力、观察力、模仿力。 2. 交际策略。培养学生的合作意识。通过两人对话;四人合作灵活运用目标语言。
教学重难点 重点:
1. 运用重点句型be supposed to, be expected to, It’s polite to进行写作。 2. 让学生在听说读的基础上,有条理地输出语言。 难点:
有条理并且有逻辑地进行语言输出。 教学方法
1. 课堂教学中才用视听教学法。利用微课和网络平台来吸引学生的课堂注意力,使学生积极地投入到英语学习中。
2. 任务型教学法。创设情景,提供有意义的任务,鼓励学生自主学习。 学习方式
学生通过小组合作和比较、归纳总结不同国家的习俗。

③Write letters on the Internet.
①From speaking to writing, Ss are able to practice their ability in different sides.
② To make sure that the Ss will write letters about customs with the target languages.
③The Internet can help teachers check all the Ss’ work and give their advice.
