1) Sing a song.<How's the weather?> 2)Free talk.
T:What can we do on a fine day?Look, I can go shopping. I can ride a bike. I can go to the ocean park or go to the theme park .How about you? What can you do on a fine day?
(设计意图:通过唱歌及Free talk激活学生的旧知。) Step 2: Presentation
1.T:It's summer. LOOK! How's the weather?(白板呈现夏季图片) Ss:It's hot. T:What can we do on a hot day?
Ss:.....(在学生回答的过程中渗透Good idea.)
T:It’s hot today.I have a good idea.Shall we go swimming? Ss:Good idea.
(在创编chant的过程中深化go swimming的学习)
2. T:It's hot in summer. How's the weather in winter?(白板对比呈现夏季冬季天气图片) Ss:It's cold.
(设计意图:通过夏季、冬季天气的对比,让学生对新单词有深刻的印象。)
T:I have some drink and some ice.Who can make them cold? For example:
S1:water Ss:cold water。
(利用白板的无限克隆功能,让学生在操作中乐于开口学习cold) Step 3: Look and say
Look at the video about the dialogue. Students listen and read the dialogue.
Students act out the dialogue in pairs.
After the show, students make up their own dialogues using the new sentences.
(设计意图:学生先练习本课的对话,掌握本课的知识,在此基础之上创编新对话,进一步理解和掌握本节课的重点句型。) Step 4: Practice
1) Play a game: To be a weather reporter.
利用白板的颜色隐藏功能,使用放大镜寻找隐藏的不同地区的气温,让学生更乐于参与。 2)Learn a new chant
(设计意图:通过小游戏再次调动学生学习的积极性,同时游戏和chant也进一步巩固了本课的重难点。) Step 5: Summary
Summarize what we have learnt today.
(设计意图:通过小结的这个环节再次让学生明确本课的重难点。) 5. Homework: 1) Recite the dialogue. 2) Preview the next lesson.
