熟练掌握单词： November December Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day. 理解并准确掌握句型:
November is the eleventh month of the year. December is the twelfth and last month of the year. 难点：
根据关键词和图片复述课文。 三、 教学过程
Step 1.Warming up/Revision
(1) 播放歌曲。Months of the Year.教师与学生一起唱。 (2) Free talk
T:Look at the pictures and describe the festivals(Spring Festival ,Tree
Planting Day,National Day) T:Which festival is it?
Ss :It’s (Spring Festival ,Tree Planting Day,National Day)
【设计意图】热身环节我设计了歌曲，复习了已学的月份，既能复习旧知，又能集中学生的注意力，还可以为新课做铺垫。月份的复习也是为新课做准备。
Step2 Presentation
1Listen and answer questions.
Q1：Which month is the eleventh month of the year ? Q2: Which month is the twelfth month of the year?
2Learn the new words and the sentences. November is the eleventh month of the year. December is the twelfth and last month of the year. 3Listen to the tape and read after it. 4Listen and repeat.
Step3Practice
1Read the passage in groups and find out the little teacher. 2Present the passage in class.
3Let’s dub.(Dub for the picture book :The biggest Christmas Tree Ever.)
4 Know more knowledge about Christmas.
