【教学目标】 1、知识目标:
(1)学生能够听、说、读、写:July, August, September, October, November, December, 及其缩写形式。
(2)学生能能在情景中熟练、正确地运用以上单词交谈关于对节日的认识和节日的相关活动,如:When is Mid-Autumn Day? It’s usually in September or October. I’ll eat mooncakes with my family. 2、技能目标:
(1)学生能够提问并回答有关节在那个月份的问题,并能够运用所学知识来描述某个月份。
培养学生用英语表达将要发生的活动,及其发生的月份,引导学生合理安排活动。 探索自主学习的学习方法。 3、情感目标:
(1)学生通过学习和讨论了解相关节日中中西方文化的差异,并对我们自己的节日文化产生民族自豪感,激发学生的英语学习兴趣。 【教学重点】
1、词汇:July, August, September, October, November, December的意思及其缩略形式,以及相关月份节日的名称,并能正确地书写月份单词。
2、句型:When is Mid-Autumn Day? It’s usually in September or October. I’ll eat mooncakes with my family. 【教学难点】
1、学生能够正确能正确发音、书写和运用月份和节日的单词生词,理解一般将来时态的语用。
2、在具体的语境中,能够灵活运用所学知识谈论节日和活动。 【教学准备】
教师准备与本课时相关音视频、单词卡片,及课件。 【教学过程】
Step 1:Greetings and leading in: 师生用歌曲相互问候。
T:Good morning ,good morning and how do you do? S:Good morning ,good morning ,I’m fine how are you?
T:I’m so happy to see you guys again. Boys and girls ,can you sing 《The 12 months》? Now let’s sing it together. Step2 教授新课
1) 教师检查学生预习单词朗读情况并个别纠错。Which month did you learned? 2) 教授和练习July.
T:Now we learned how to speak all the 12 months.
Who has a birthday in July? What will you do on your birthday? Can you tell us?
S1:My birthday is in July. I’ll „
S2:My mother/sister/brother’s birthday is in July. I’ll„ 拓展文化知识:
T: Well, I see ,new clothes, parties, yummy food, games„ All these things make July special for you. It is special for our Chinese people ,too.课件出示党旗和建党节图片,并出示日期July 1st .师继续介绍It’s the birthday of the Communist Party of China. Do you know , July is also special for the American people .课件出示独立日相关图文资料,师介绍The 4th of July is the Independence Day. Fireworks will be hold after the sunset. There will be many kinds of parade on that day, too. 3)教授和练习August.
Boys and girls .Just now we learned July 1st

?can you say something about it?课件出示建军节相关图文资料。教师教授“The Army Day”后启发和引导学生说出“The Army Day is in August.”师继续介绍“There will be a military parade on The Army Day.”教师引导学生说出更多关于八月的词汇和句子。如Summer vacation is in August等。 4)教授September, October, November
T: Which season comes after summer vacation? Autumn of course. Are there any special days in autumn? What are they? What do you know about theses festivals?教师根据课件引导学生说出教师节,中秋节,国庆节以及感恩节,并谈论这些节日所在月份和庆祝习俗,学生在这些节日的活动等。如:
S1:Teachers’ Day is in September. I’ll give flowers and say “thank
you” to my teacher.
S2:Mid-Autumn Day is in September or October. I’ll eat mooncakes with
my family.
S3:China’s National Day is in October. There will be 7days off. I’ll
go for a trip with my parents.
S4:American Thanksgiving Day is in November. People will eat turkeys and
say “thank you” to others. „
谈论结束后,教师总结:All these festivals makes autumn colorful and cheerful. We love autumn. 5)教授December.
电子白板出示动画歌曲“Jingle Bell”. 教师提问:What’s that song about? What do you know about Christmas? 引导学生说出:Christmas is in December.并简单描述圣诞活动。如We can make Christmas Trees. We can play in the snow.
Step3:Consolidation &Extension:
1)学生分成12个小组,每组分别描述一个月份中包含的节日和该节日的庆祝方式以及学生的活动等,可以通过绘画,语言等多种方式呈现。
2)将学生的作品展示在黑板上对应的月份板书旁,形成学生们自己的Calendar. Step4 Homework

【课后反思】
本节课通过重点把握复习、新知教学和拓展提高三个环节,面向全体学生,
因材施教,关注学习过程。通过唱歌进行复习导入,并采用一系列的活动,引导能力稍弱的学生加深对所学内容的理解,强化对月份类单词的认读,为后续学习奠定了基础;拓展提高环节又为学有余力的学生提出了更高的学习目标,即要求他们用所学英语描述自己的生日。充分利用课堂上的有效资源 ,运用恰当的方式与方法,提高课堂的实效性。在教学过程中,教师创造性地使用教材,积极收集课堂上有效的教学资源,并使之成为教学的契机。注重听说先行,读写跟上在本节课上注重学生听说的能力的同时,也适当地关注学生的读写。注重对学生学习策略的培养,强化听、说、读、写训练。
