句型：When is...? It’s in... 的掌握及回答。 教学难点：
I’ll...句型的学习。 教学过程： Step1: Warm-up 1. Enjoy the chant
1. Review the words: January ……December. 2. T: When is summer vacation? /mother's day...... S s: It's in..... Go over the sentences. Step 2: Presentation
1. T shows the picture of Mother’s Day. T: When is Mother’s Day ? Ss: It’s in May.
T: I’ll cook for my mother on Mother’s Day?What will you do ? S s: I’ll ...(Ss answer one by one ) 2. Groupwork
In group ,the one asks, the other three Ss answer ,then ask some Ss to report their results .
3. Finish the sentences "What will you do for your mum on Mother's Day?"
I'll ___________________ _____ will ______________ 4. Let’s try
Listen to the tape and tick what Oliver will have ,then check the answer. Listen again and repeat sentence by sentence. 5. Let’s talk
1)Ask the Ss : Which season do you like best ?
Learn the sentence: I like autumn. I really like the colors. We usually have a school trip in autumn. 2)Pair work
3) Get the Ss to read the ‘Let's talk” and find out the answer When is the trip this year ? It’s in October. Then Ss read in pairs. 4) Make a new dialogue
5) Answer the question: What will they do ?
Ss learn about the Great Wall. 6) Work in pairs.
7) listen to tape about Let's talk. .And read after the tape/teacher. Step 3: Practice 1. Role play
a. First the Ss read and translate the coversation b. Read in pairs
c. Ask some Ss to read in pairs 2. Fill the blanks about the dialog.
3. Get some Ss to translate Chinese sentences into English 4. Make a new dialogue with your partner 5. Act out the dialogue. Step 4: Summary
Ss sum up what we have learned today. T helps Ss to know the main sentences.
Finally, the teacher tells all the students :
We usually have a school trip in spring or autumn every year. We must do it like this。
