一、教学内容:
《小学•英语•五年级上册》Unit8 At Christmas 第一课时Story time
二、教学目标:
1. 能在教师的指导下进行自主互助式学习,通过略读、寻读等阅读策略有步骤地阅读和理解故事内容。
2. 能在故事情境中听懂、会读、会说以下词汇:Christmas, presents, Christmas tree, Father Christmas, pretty, thing, Christmas Eve, stocking, wait for, turkey, pudding, have a good time。
3. 能初步运用buy, put等动词及短语描述圣诞节的有关活动。
4. 能理解并按照时间的先后顺序初步运用副词:first, next, then, finally。
三、教学重点:
1. 能通过自主互助式学习方式和略读、寻读等阅读策略理解故事内容。
2. 初步运用表示时间先后顺序的副词:first, next, then, finally。

五、教学过程:
Step1. Greetings
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
S: Good afternoon, Miss Cai. Nice to meet you, too.
Step2. Pre-reading
1. Play a game
T: Do you like games? First, let’s play a game: Read and guess.
Ss:( Read and guess )
2. Talk about Christmas
T: Can you say something about Christmas?
Ss:( Say something about Christmas in class )
Step3. While-reading
1. Read and choose
T: First, read the paragraphs silently and choose the right
pictures, please.
2. Read and underline
(1) Read and underline
T: What do Mike’s family do at Christmas?
Please read the text loudly and underline the phrases about
their Christmas activities.
Ss:( Read and underline )
(2) Ask and answer
T: Next, you can ask and answer in your group. If you have the new
words you don’t understand, please ask for help in groups.
(3) Have a check
Ss learn the paragraphs step by step.
3. Read and order
T: Read the paragraphs again and put them in the correct order.
4. Read after the computer
T: Mike and his family have a good time at Christmas. Let’s enjoy
the story and read after Mike. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.

六、教学反思:
本单元的主要话题是“圣诞节”。在备课的过程中,我对教材进行了一定的研究分析,根据学生的实际生活,设计了一系列的教学活动过程。除了运用本课所学的重点单词以外,还引导学生进行延伸与拓展,同时让学生自主创设情境,操练所学过的语言文化知识。现将我对这节课的整体思路阐述如下:
一、自由对话,导入新课。
在本节课中,我从Free Talk开始谈起,通过guessing game学生词,并且引出本课标题——Unit8 At Christmas,关于圣诞节的风俗习惯很多,我选择了呈现“Mike未完成的Christmas的故事书”这个特色做为我本节课的切入点,引入本课新单词的教学,且准备了一定的教学实物,通过展示各种实物的方法,让学生从视觉上认识事物,体验中学会说英语。
二、自主学习,充分合作。
英语作为一门语言,应体现它的交际功能,我一贯认为学生会应用英语是关键。所以我设计了“通过图文匹配,了解故事梗概”,“通过阅读划线,了解故事细节”,“通过阅读排序,把握故事片段间的联系”,“通过欣赏故事,对比Mike和自己的故事书”这四个环节,并穿插设计了教师示范阅读、学生自主阅读、小组互助学习等活动。整节课不仅是学生建构故事的过程,也是学生理解故事的过程;不仅让学生学到了书本知识,也充分体验了外国节日的文化氛围;不仅会运用文本,也会充分运用语言,拓展性地发表自己的见解、表达自己的感受。
三、创设情境,体验文化。
本单元的主要话题是“圣诞节”,让学生了解如何过圣诞节。学生在理解其意思上没有太大的障碍,因此我觉得不仅要让学生学会文本,更要让学生以此为载体,充分体验西方文化。一方面让学生透过文本了解文化,一方面让学生透过文本体验文化,将生活体验和文化知识紧密地联系在一起。
