教学目标
1. 能使用“first”,“next”,“then”and “finally”来描述一件事情。
2. 能读出字母j在单词中的读音。
3. 能够通过生成的结构整体把握文本大意,以此文本为载体,指导学生运用听力技巧自主解构文本。
4. 能简单谈论Christmas有关的话题,了解圣诞的习俗和相关的表达,并且能够自信的与人交流。
2学情分析
本单元话题是Christmas,要求学生围绕单元的重点语法项目,即使用副词first,next,then,finally有条理地叙述一件事情,这对学生有很高的要求。本课时是Checkout time板块,主要是基于课本上的学习材料,复习检测本单元话题的表述,以及要求学生能够用first,next,then,finally连贯的表达自己的节日活动。
五(1)班学生课堂气氛较为活跃,大部分学生都能积极参与课堂,有6名学生参与课堂的积极性较弱,但他们能够在其他的孩子的影响下,以及课堂中的激励和表扬中也能积极参与课堂。班级中有2名英语基础较弱的孩子,表达方面较为困难,在课堂中需给与更多的鼓励和关注。在课堂上,学生渐渐乐于表达,愿意和小组成员来进行交流,通过教师和同伴的引导和激励,学生的表达欲望逐渐提高,对英语的学习兴趣也变得更加浓厚。基于学生的这些特点,本课设计的活动要富有层次感,应体现螺旋式上升的理念。在问题设置时能做到先易后难,学生学习的效果应当会得到保证。
3重点难点
通过听教师讲joke,以及学生自己对joke的叙述,学生能有使用“first”,“next”,“then”and “finally”来描述一件事情的意识,接着通过杨玲的放学后的活动,进行小组合作学习,增强描述一件事的连续性的意识,并学会在具体的情境中运用。
关于本课时的圣诞节活动内容,是本单元的重点,课堂上,通过生成的结构整体把握文本大意,以此文本为载体,指导学生运用听力技巧自主解构文本,同时通过游戏,复习巩固本单元话题内容的表达。并学会文本的再构,最后通过写信给圣诞老人,实现文本的再构。
4教学过程
4.1第一学时
4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Pre-task
1. The teacher shows a word "Coke",and asks the students to read it.
2. Replace the "C" of Coke with "J", and meanwhile, show the word "juice" "jump" and "jacket" .
3. The students sense the pronunciation of "J",and join the word "oke", to form a the sound of "joke"
活动2【讲授】Pre-task(task 2 )
1. Provide the students with a joke to introduce some adverbs like “first”, “next”, “then”, and “finally”.
2. Let the students tell this joke, using all these adverbs.
活动3【活动】While-task(task 1 )
1.Encourage the students to say what they usually do after school to bring out Task 1, i.e. Yang Ling’s after-school activities.
2. Say the phrases about the pictures.
3. Listen and order.
4. Show the pictures and the sentences and let the students fill in the blanks with the adverbs.
5. Work in groups, let them read by giving them different ways.
活动4【练习】While-task (task 2 )
1. By playing a video about Yang ling’s dream, the teacher introduces the Christmas background.
2. Look, listen and guess.
3. Fill in the blanks on page eighty-six.
A game for the students.
活动5【测试】Post-task
1. Game
The class is divided into 2 teams: boys and girls. Each side has 90 seconds. They say one Christmas activity for each picture. If one side runs out of time, the other side wins.
2. Ask the students to write about their own Christmas activities.
3. Some students read their letters.
3. Make sure Santa Claus will read it by putting it into the socks.
活动6【作业】Homework
1.Give yourselves some stars on Ticking time.
2.Listen to story time one more time.
Talk about Cartoon time with your friends.
