一．整体设计思路、指导据依说明
本节课是外研社版必修三 Module 6的写作和阅读课相结合的一节课，在第一节课Introduction学会了一些描述地方的词汇，所以本节课主要是写过去和现在的对比，需要运用一些描写地方的词汇和句型。高一英语读写教学在整个高中英语教学中非常重要，能对学生后期英语学习起到基础性的作用。所以对于本堂的主要教学的目标就是希望学生能学会通过平时的学习逐步的渗透各种英语的技能，让学生在很自然的环境中去习得一些关键的技能，让他们养成收集素材的好习惯。
本节课课本内容不仅仅是一封信，还是英语作文仿写的学习材料，学生通过对于这篇课文的学习，不但能够学会阅读的技巧，还能学到写作的技能。新课程强调的是教学应该把培养目标与学生生活世界的紧密结合，使学生学会创造健康向上的生活，所以本节课的情感目标是引导学生要积极的建立良好师生关系，从而让他们能更好的融入到校园生活中。 1. 指导依据
语言学家克鲁姆说过“成功的外语课堂教学教师应该为课堂内创设更多的情景，让学生有机会使用已学过的语言材料。”本堂课就是通过给学生创设一个地方变迁过去和现在的对比这个话题，让学生能够高效运用刚刚学到的词汇和段落结构，这样可以实现让学生有机会使用学过的语言材料，充分调动学生的积极性，使学生自主学习，让学生成为问题的发现者和解决者，然后学生与学生进行合作性的探究，让老师成为问题的点拨者。 二．教学目标分析
1、语言知识目标：掌握描述地点的形容词。
2、语言技能目标：通过先用单个句子地点，再到用段落描述一个地方新旧的对比。 3、情感态度目标：学生能自如的表述自己的思想，感情以及与人交流的能力，勾起学生对故乡的怀念。
4、学习策略：在情景中进行交流，培养学生的交际策略。学会仿写段落，逐步培养学习中举一反三的能力。 三、教学重点、难点分析
教学重点：鼓励学生用熟悉的句子描述一个地方，锻炼学生的读写能力，鼓励学生使用阅读中的词汇描述。
教学难点：如何使学生积极主动的参与到课堂活动中来，如何用丰富的语言来描写人
四、教学过程设计（方法、手段、意图） Step 1 Warming up

My grandparents and my mother were born in a small village in Conglin Country. I used to go there each holiday. I still remember it was a beautiful place.
Last year I wanted to visit the house where my grandparents lived, but it disappeared. It is now a part of the Mushroom Theme Park(丛林蘑菇园)。The people living in the village have moved to other places.
