In the video, what did the people do during Christmas?
What’s Christmas in Chinese?What does it mean? So Christmas Day has a religious origin. Origin means start or beginning. People who believe in Jesus, are called Christians基督教徒. They believe in Jesus or their beliefs are in God. 2. Origin
Different festivals have different origins. Besides a religious origin, some are seasonal, some are in memory of the dead and ancestors and some are for special people or events. What’s in memory of? What about ancestors? A member of your family who lived a long time ago. 3. Present more pictures on festivals
Thanksgiving Day, Spring Festival Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Day and
Halloween.

Now please work in groups. For each group, please choose your favorite festival and collect information about it on when,
