一、教材分析
本单元以“急救”为中心话题。本节课是把此单元的两个reading结合起来进行复习,旨在通过教学,使学生了解相关的急救知识,并能用所学的有关first aid的知识,根据不同情况提出急救措施。同时通过教学激发学生进一步学习急救知识的兴趣和树立安全意识,意义重大。 二、学情分析
所执教的班级学生已经是高二的学生,他们有了一定的英语基础。该班学生的主要特点是能讲敢讲,课堂气氛活跃。本单元的教学内容与生活实际相结合,学生比较熟悉这个主题内容,也能引起他们的表达欲望和学习兴趣。 三、教学目标 (含重、难点)
1. 语言目标:学习掌握教学内容中的重点字、词、句; 2. 能力目标:阅读速度和技巧的训练;
3. 情感目标:教育学生帮助他人于危急时的良好情操;通过讨论等小组活动培养小组合作精神;通过课堂教学活动激发学生英语学习兴趣。 教学重点:帮助学生使用不同的阅读技巧完成阅读目标
教学难点:1. 学生阅读能力的培养,运用文中信息解决问题的能力; 2. 掌握急救知识和根据不同情况提出急救措施; 3. 能学会急救知识和相关急救措施的英语表达。 四、教学过程 Step1. Leading-in 1. (1) Greetings

活动目的:激活学生已有的信息储备,逐渐引导学生进入本单元主题。 2. Brainstorming: What situation can you think of that needs first aid? Step2. Brainstorming & Show time
What words can you think of when you talk about accidents and first aid? Work in groups to discuss what kind of first aid you should give in the following situations and then act them out.
活动目的:激发学生学习兴趣,明确阅读目的并对课文的重点进行归纳。 Step3 Revision of the first reading

活动目的:这一步是阅读过程的提升,是一种情感升华,同时锻炼学生的语言表达能力,帮助学生进行课堂反思,反思自己所学所思所得。通过对文章深层次的理解及细节的欣赏,认识及分析主人公的人物特征及性格。激发学生对人生和命运的感悟,使学生形成积极的情感态度和健康的人生观。 Step6 Practice

活动目的:主要是让学生再次对本课的知识重难点和语法重点进行巩固练习和提高。

六、教学反思 Teaching reflection
这堂课我感觉整个过程达到了我预先所想。总体上来说整堂课氛围比较轻松,学生在自主、合作、探究的气氛中愉快度过。同时,在老师循序渐进地引导下,学生有所谈,有所想,有所思,有所悟。作为教师,40分钟内顺利完成教学任务,涉及容量较大,又促进了学生的情感教育,我感到很有收获,但同时也有所思。
本课最大的特点是由六名学生代表讲述六个版块,分别完成规定的任务,学生真正成为了课堂的主角,教师只是他们的引导者和助手。课后作业的布置延伸了课内所学。总体来讲,教学的各个环节都得到了很好落实。
首先,良好的导入很重要。作为老师的我们一定要在一堂课的前3---5分钟之内,因势利导,循序渐进,充分调动学生的感官、紧紧抓住学生的心理和兴趣,使课堂教学更具趣味性和艺术性。总体来说,这节课的导入是比较顺利的。本课围绕First Aid展开教学,利用课文图片导入使学生充分理解急救的重要意义,突出了安全意识和救护知识的重要性和实用性。
学生的兴趣和参与积极性油然而生。这不由得让我想起一句话“教有趣,必乐学”。
其次,教学内容是根据我班学生的实际情况设计的,难度适中,满足了不同类型和不同层次学生的要求。不论是总体把握,还是细节理解,都充分考虑学生

是否能够完成。有对文章的整体复述,有对文章细节的描述,有对重要短语的提炼,也有对定语从句的分析,更有对难点句式的练习。事实证明,所设置的六个版块的内容,大多数学生都能顺利完成。与此同时,也充分锻炼了学生们的主持能力和口语表达能力,提高了学生的积极性和参与度。
最后,本节课大力倡导新课标下的教学理念:学生主持、小组合作、相互探究的课堂教学模式;教师引领、分层教学、因材施教的课堂教学方法。整个教学过程充分体现了教师主导、学生主体的关系。教学过程较全面考虑了学生所能、学生所想,学生所悟。课前热身和课后讨论中的问题很接近社会实际和学生的年龄段状况,学生容易接受,有话可说;同时,问题难度的降低也使学生有话敢说。特别是急救知识的表演一方面活跃课堂,另外也使得学生进一步掌握了一些正确的救护知识。同时这节课很好地落实了情感教育目标,即培养学生临危不乱和助人为乐的精神。
当然,本堂课也还存在一些不足,需要加以改进:由于本堂课任务多,容量大,导致完成任务时间较紧。今后我会更加合理地设置难度和统筹安排时间。
