Step1. Warm up 1、Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you! Ss: Good morning. Nice to meet you, too! T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine.
T: Sit down, please.Today, we’ll have a new lesson, at the snack bar. 2、Sing a song. For you and me
T: I have some questions for you.
1. What food can you see ?(复习歌曲中出现的食物类单词) 2. What food do you like ?
3. Where can you buy them ?(通过几个购物地点,引出snack bar) 4. 揭题 snack bar
3、Miss Zhang’s snack bar(呈现snack bar图片,复习其他实物类词语)
①Review the words---Food and Drinks.
T:Can you guess what’s in my snack bar,we many words about food and drink,who can try?(通过猜词,学习本课新单词)
Ss: a cup of coffee,a glass of milk,ice cream, hot dog, sweet, cake, milk, chocolate...
②Review the structure--- Would you like…? Yes, please./ No, thanks. T:take out some food and drink, ask students “Would you like...?” Ss:Yes, please./ No, thank you.
4、教授句型What would you like? I’d like a/an/some.... (学生在与老师的对话,如学生的回答是No,thank you.就自然地教授句型What would you like? I’d like…, please.)
5、师生、生生操练句型。
What would you like? I’d like a/an/some.... Step2.Presentation and practice 1、Teach and read new words. 2、Play a game.
3、Listen and underline: What would they like?
T: What would they like? Let’s listen and tick.
Ss listen to the tape. Then answer the questions one by one: What would Mike like? / What would Helen like? / What would Dad like? 3、Find and say:
T: What do they say when they are ordering food? Let’s open our books and under them with blue lines.
4、Try to say(教授What would you like? / What about you? / Anything else? = What else?) T: Are you OK? Ss: OK.
T: Who can read the sentences? Have a try!
Ss try to read: What would you like? / What about you? T: What does it mean? Ss: ….
T: How to read it? (指着Anything else?) Let’s listen!(播放录音,学生学说)
5、Listen and repeat
T: All of you did good job. How do Yang Ling, Mike and their Dad ask and answer at the snack bar? Let’s listen to the tape,
pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.(听录音,出示升降调)
Tips:几个相同种类的词语并列出现时,除最后一项外,其余都读成升调。 T: Now, please open your books, write the reading marks on your English books. Ss: OK.
T: Are you OK? Now, let’s follow the tape. 6、Let’s read
T: Can you read the story by yourselves? Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Please choose one way to read the story in four people. T: If you can read loudly, you can get one star. If you can read loudly and correctly, you can get two stars.
Ss read by themselves, then T check out two groups. 7、Practice
