教学目标
1、知识目标:
学习单词snow,cold,rain,warm,weather,coat等。
学习句子How is the weather in…?It’s….What do you wear? I wear...
2、能力目标:能用英语询问各地的天气情况。
3、情感目标:培养学生良好的人际交往与合作的能力,学会关注天气,合理着装。
2学情分析
四年级学生对英语的学习还有较浓厚的兴趣,有着较强的求知欲和表现欲,而且拥有了一定英语基础,所以本课借组课件,卡片,音乐等教学形式,再辅以学生结合信息技术教学,培养学生自主学习能力。但是,孩子在信息技术结合学习方面还有待提高。
3重点难点
教学重点:
(1)单词snow,cold,rain,warm,weather,coat等。
(2)句子How is the weather in…?It’s….What do you wear? I wear….
教学难点:
(1)单词“weather”"rain"的发音;
(2)用英语询问各地的天气How is the weather in…?It’s…

活动1【导入】weather
Step I :Warming up
(一)Greetings
(二)Listen to a song: Rain, Rain, Go Away
T:Boys and girls,first,let’s listen to a song《Rain, Rain, Go Away》.
After listening to the song,are you feel happy?
[设计意图:歌曲导入,轻松活泼,营造英语学习氛围,调动英语学习积极性,进入英语学习。]
Step 2: Lead in and Presentation
(一)揭示板书课题
T:I’m happy ,too.Because National Day is coming.I’m going to travel.
But before traveling,I need to know the weather.
[设计意图:从即将到来的国庆节出门旅游入手,引出本课教学课题weather,过渡自然。]
(二)教授weather
T:OK,please look at the screen. head,“ea” pronounces / e /;bread “ea”--/e/.father-mother-brother ,so “ther” pronounces / ðə /. So “weather” .
[设计意图:通过以前学过的单词发音让学生自主拼读出本课课题“weather”的发音,旧知引新知。培养学生自主学习能力]
(三)复习服装单词
1、Review the words about clothes by cards.
2、Play a game“bomb game”.
T:Now,look at the screen,is it a clothes? Yes, please read it.If no, please say “bomb”.
[设计意图:通过卡片以及游戏,复习旧知,调动学生学习积极性,为接下来新课呈现做铺垫]
Step 3 New lesson
(一)单词和句型教学
1.教授句型How is the weather in....? It’s snowing.
(1)板书呈现 How is the weather in Sydney? 并跟读
It’s sowing. It’s very cold.
T:Do you know where I am going to travel?课件呈现悉尼,
Yes , I am going to Sydney. It is in Australia. So do you know
How is the weather in Sydney? 板书句子,并跟读。
[设计意图:复习完服装的单词,教师根据旅游的目的地,自然引出句子How is the weather in ....还学生一个真实的语言环境。]
(2)单词教学:snow snowing, cold.
(3)句型操练
教师呈现 北京,上海,福州等地的天气,通过师生问答以及生生问答的形式进一步掌握句型用法。
T:How is the weather in Beijing?
Ss: It’s snowing. It’s very coat.
T: How is the weather in Shanghai?
Ss: It’s sunny.
(4) 单词 rain,raining,warm 教学
(5)教师出示天气图片,再出示一个句子,请学生判断句子所表达的内容是否与图意相符,如果相符就跟读,如果不符就回答出正确的句子。
T:Now,look at the screen,there are some pictures and sentences.Please choose right or wrong.
(6)教师呈现天气有关图片,请学生回答问题
T:Now, look at my cards,answer my questions.
How is the weather ?
Ss:It’s sunny.
T:Now, group 1 ask and group 2 answer, then exchange.

2,教授句型 What do you wear? I wear ....
(1)句型呈现并带读
T:It’s snowing in Sydny, it’s very cold. So I need to wear a sweater.I wear coat.
板书I wear a sweater.跟读。
Coat 教学
T:What do you wear?
S1:I wear a T-shirt.
呈现what do you wear? 并跟读。
(2)句型操练:教师请学生抽取衣服卡片,并回答老师问题
T: What do you wear?
S1: I wear a sweater.
[设计意图:通过班级孩子呈现服装,使孩子在真实的语境中感受句型。]
(二) 课文教学
1.Picture talking.
T: What can you see in the pic?
SS:Sally and her dad.
T: What are they talking about?
SS: Weather
2.学生通过电脑自己播放课文听力,并回答问题:How is the weather in Beijing?
[设计意图:通过自己操作电脑整体听课文听力,达到英语学习和电脑信息技术结合,锻炼孩子自主学习能力]
3.熟读课文,表演对话
(1)播放课件,学生跟读课文。
T:OK,now,please click your paper ,listen and repeat.
(2) play in role
[设计意图:跟读课件,模仿语音语调。再通过角色扮演操练,让学生多开口,读得更好更流利。]
Step 4 consolidation
(一)综合活动:小小天气播报员。
T:Look,this is a map of China.Who can be the little weather reporter for me?(师先示范后,可以提醒学生小组内每人选择一个地点,最后请几个学生做汇报。)

Good morning!I’m .This is the weather report.How is the weather in ?It’s .You can wear .Thank you,bye!

(1)T:Today,we‘ve learned somethings about weather and clothes.

(一)Listen to the tape,read the text after class.
(二)Do the 《Activity Book》for this lesson.
