《It’s big and light.》教学设计
英语课程标准二级目标要求: 语言技能目标:
能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当反应。能在图片、图像、手势的帮助下,听懂简单的话语或录音材料。能在教师的帮助和图片的提示下进行描述或讲述简单的小故事。能根据拼读规律,读出简单的单词。能根据图片、词语或例句的提示,写出简短的描述。
语言知识目标:
了解简单的拼读规律。理解简单句的基本形式。 学习策略目标:
在课堂交流中注意倾听,积极运用所学语言进行表达和交流。 课标解读:
基于以上要求,本课中我通过用英语组织课堂,使学生能听懂老师指令和要求,做出适当反应。能在课件、老师搜集的图片以及老师做出的各种手势的帮助下,理解课文,回答出老师提问的问题。掌握生词的用法,能在适当的情景中运用所学句型。能理解每个单词的拼读方法,形成正确的朗读习惯。能根据本课所学内容,写出自己的一个心愿。
教材分析
本课内容来自外研版三年级起点第六册Module 5 Unit 1 It’s big and light.在三、四年级两年的学习过程中,学生学过了用It’s… 描述物品的颜色,描述建筑物的特点,描写动物的特点。同时,学生还学习了描述身材、性格特点的单词。本课,主要内容为谈论事物的特性,功能句为The…bag is …, It’s … Look at …。教材中出现的 light, hard, nice,take均为以前
学过的单词,但在本课中有不同的意思。Light, take, easy, umbrella为本课重点学习的单词。hard, broken, pocket, wheel为本课能听、说、读的单词。Department store, sales assistant为本课能理解的单词。
学情分析
经过两年的英语学习,五年级的学生已经养成了良好的英语学习习惯,积累了一些英语学习方法,并且对英语学习保持着相当大的兴趣和积极性。本课简单句多,内容贴近学生生活实际,更容易调动学生开口说的欲望。
本次授课班级学生整体好静。全班有3名学生已经提前接触过本课知识,只要课堂稍加点拨,就可以轻松完成任务。还有10多名学生接受能力较快,这就分学生可以做为小组长,帮助组内其他有困难的学生,提高学习效果。另外还有几个学生相对接受能力较差,授课过程需要给予更多的关注和鼓励。
本课用It’s…描述物品特性不难,难点在于是否能综合运用以前学过的形容词灵活描述物品。课文中句型较多,如:It’s got…You can put… I’ll take it. 要达到各个句型灵活切换,熟练表达,还是需要下一番功夫的。
教学目标:
1.在师生交流、感知文本的过程中,通过出示图片或感受动作的方式,98%的学生能单词light,easy,take,umbrella,95%的学生能听懂、理解单词sales assistant, department store.
2.通过师生、生生角色扮演,图片及实物替换练习、争当优秀售货员任务,98%的学生能用句子The …bag is …. It’s … Look at … 介绍或描述物品。90%的同学能听懂并理解 It’s got… You can put your…
3.通过提出问题、感知文本、回答问题、跟读模仿、分角色朗读的方式,98%的学生能理解课文含义;85%的学生能在老师和同伴的帮助下正确地朗读
课文,在学习过程中喜欢与其他同学配合合作,养成良好的学习习惯。
教学重点难点
重点:用The …bag is …/It’s…来描述物品。
难点:能在具体的语境中正确、恰当地运用所学知识与他人进行交际。 目标达成评价
1. 通过抽生读单词、课文朗读活动,检测教学目标1。

3. 通过感知文本、回答问题、分角色朗读等活动,检测教学目标3。 教学过程: 一、Preparation 1.Greeting.
2.Look, what’s this? It’s a kite. What color is it? Yes, it’s a blue and white kite. And it’s…出示light, 板书light. This is a light. But now, it’s not a light. Look, the paper is light. The book is light. So light means出示:轻的。
3.The kite is light. So can you fly a kite? Great. Super. Oh, it’s hard to fly a kite.
二、Presentation and Drill (一)Part 1
1. Let’s guess:Can Tom fly a kite? Yes? Why? You are so careful. Now, let’s listen and see.
2.Can Tom fly a kite? Yes. Look, Tom is tired, it’s hard to fly a kite. 出示:困难的,费力的. 跟老师读两遍句子。
Can Amy ride a bike? Sam helps Amy to fly a kite. So Amy feels very nice. Nice means美好的。跟老师读两遍,男女生读。

2. How many bags? Yes, three. The black bag, the green bag, and the blue bag. Why did they take a new bag? Let’s see. Lingling’s bag is broken. 板书:broken. Look at the book, it’s broken.
