Step1:Greetings and warming-up.
Say hello to each other.
Step2:Lead-in
1. Three riddles about jobs, let the students guess.
a. He works on a farm. What does he do?(He’s a farmer.)
b. She works in a school. She loves the children. What does she do? (She’s a teacher.)
c. He works in a factory. What does he do? (He’s a worker.)
2. Both of them are about jobs, there are lots of jobs in our life, What other jobs do you know?
S1: postman S2: reporter S3: model S4: policeman …… Step3 : Presentation
1. I know that Daming’s is a policeman. Now, let’s watch a video about our friends Daming and Fangfang, they will talk about their parents. For the first time, please try to find out what do their parents do? That is to say, their jobs.
Let Ss watch the video and then answer the following questions: Q1:What does Daming’s father do? Q2:What does Fangfang’s father do? Q3:What does Daming’s mother do? Q4:What does Fangfang’s mother do?
Check the answers: policeman, worker, nurse, driver.
2. T: Ok, now we know their parents’ jobs, How about the time, that means,
when does he/she go to work every day? Listen to the text again and pay more attention to the “time”.
3. T: Have you got any information about “time”? Maybe it’s a little difficult, so let’s listen again and read after it together. After that, please write down the answers of the four questions in your groups: Q1:When does Daming’s father go to work everyday? Q2:When does Fangfang’s father go to work everyday?
