教学目标
1.认知目标: 能听说认读when,nervous,all right,airport,
ticket,passport,safe等单词。
2.技能目标:能口头运用 Where are you going? What are you going to take? When are you going to the airport? Who’s going to the airport?这类问句就具体信息提问。
3.情感目标:学会制定计划,培养积极筹划未来的策略,养成有备无患的生活意识和态度。
2学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们的英语学习已经有了一定的基础,具备了初步运用英语表达的能力。并且有比较成熟的合作学习经验。在教授新语言点时,注重从学生实际出发,以情景带动学生生活,要尽可能多,让学生在语境中更好地练习句式,让学生在积极参与的过程中,培养学生的听、说和灵活运用语言的能力。

Step1. Warm-up:
1.Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello,Ms Lao.
T: How are you?
Ss: I'm fine,thank you.And you?
T: I'm fine too, thanks.
2.Let's sing a song Where did you go?
【设计意图:通过唱歌调动学生的积极性与注意力,让学生在快乐情绪中进入最佳的学习状态,并由此歌曲导入本课学习。】

活动1【导入】Step2.Lead in
1.戴着旅行帽,背着旅行包走上讲台:
T: Hello, children. Do you like travelling?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: Yes, I like travelling very much. Traveling is very interesting,
and there are so many beautiful places in China. Let’s enjoy some pictures first.
2.This Summer Holiday is coming, where are you going?
S1: I’m going to Shanghai.
S2: I’m going to Beijing…
3.揭示课题:Today we’ll learn a new module“Module10 Unit1 Where are you going?”(Let Ss read the title). We’ll learn how to make some preparations for our trips.
4.T(PPT): I’m going to Canada and visit my friend. I’m very happy, but I feel nervous.(出示生词nervous,顺便做出紧张的神态,教生读。)
Ss:Nervous.(学生词,利用大小声、高低声等形式练习单词。)

设真实的情景,帮助学生理解词意。】
2.T: I’m going to take lots of things to Canada,now they’re in
my bag.What’s in my bag? Can you guess?
S1: It’s clothes.
T: Right! I’m going to take clothes.Any thing else?
S2: Presents/ shoes/money/moble phone…?
3.T: Look,what is it? It’s a passport.(教学生读、点名读、个人读、小组轮读、齐读生词。)
Ss read new word.(对于表现好的小组或个人及时表扬、鼓励)
4.T(飞机票):Don’t forget to take “ticket”. It’s very important. Now, please read after me “ticket”. (示范读,个人读,轮读,男女生读。)
【设计意图:创设真实语境,通过guessing game让学生展开想象,并在猜测过程中学习新词汇,打破将单词进行单独教学的方式,将其放在为旅行做准备的情景中进行教学,从而激发学生的学习兴趣。】
5.T: I have so many things to take, let’s make a list together.(呈现清单表,把单词一一粘贴上表。)
6.Now I’m going to take these things to the “airport”.Do you know “airport”?
T:Look,it’s an airport.(PPT呈现,教学生用不同方式练读。)
Ss:(read new word)
T: If we get ready for our trip,it will be all right, and hope we’ll have a safe trip!  
7.Learn the new word of “all right”and”safe”。
8.教师带领学生巩固、认读单词卡片。
【设计意图:通过看课件图片,让学生在情景中感悟、理解、巩固语言知识,让学生感觉更贴近,更易理解,激发学生学习的积极性。】
9.教师带领学生巩固单词:
(1)认读单词卡片。
(2)通过游戏“What’s missing?”练习单词,看哪位同学反应最快、最灵敏,并进行小贴画奖励。  
活动2【讲授】Step3.Presentation
1.T: This summer Daming is going to have a trip,too. (PPT of Statue[‘stætʃu:] of Liberty) He’s going to the US.
2.Look and listen carefully. (看图听录音,整体感知课文。)
3.Listen to the tape twice and finish these questions:
Where are you going?         ---To the airport.
What are you going to take?   -- Shoes,ticket…
When are you going to the airport?
Who’s going to the airport with you?
4.Practise in pairs and answer the questions.
5.Role work:分角色表演对话
T: Now,I’ll be Daming,you’ll be grandma. I answer you ask
me together(师生、男女生、学生小组分角色表演课文对话,分别扮演Daming and Grandma,借助黑板上的question words and key words,对课文进行简要复述。鼓励学生尽可能丰富自己的对话。)
6.Summing up:特殊疑问词where,what,when,who引导的句子称为特殊疑问句。
where 哪里     提问地点  Where are you going?
what  什么     提问物品  What are you going to take?
when 什么时候 提问时间 When are you going to the airport?
who  谁    提问人 Who’s going to the airport with you?
【设计意图:问题的设置帮助学生在听录音的过程中明确听音目的和听音重点,通过让学生先整体感知课文,再学习重点句型,这样的方式对培养学生的听说能力起到较大功效。】
活动3【活动】Step4 Consolidation 
、Role work
T: Now,I’ll be Daming, you’ll be grandma. I answer you ask me together(师说答语,学生说相对应问句;男女生、学生小组分角色表演课文对话,分别扮演Daming and Grandma,借助黑板上的question words and key words,对课文进行简要的复述。鼓励学生尽可能的丰富自己的对话
2. Let’s say a chant.
Where are you going? To the airport, to the airport.
What are you going to take?Shoes, ticket and toothbrush.
When are you going?At 8 o’clock, at 8 o’clock.
Who’s going with you? It’s me,me,me!
【设计意图:利用小学生善于模仿的特点,以跟读的方式练习听力并纠正发音,进一步使学生在动中学,在玩中学,让更多的学生进行展示。节奏感强的chant不仅活跃了课堂气氛,还帮助学生轻松地巩固总结了本课的重难点。】
活动4【练习】Step5.Extension 
1.开心假日:Make a survey about summer holidays .
学生四人一组讨论制定本组的暑假旅行计划,讨论完成表格,再将表格中的内容整理为自己喜欢的形式进行交流(可以是对话,短文,或书信等形式)。
S1:Where are you going this summer?
S2:We are going to the park.
S3:What are you going to take?
S4:we’re going to take some apples/bananas/cakes…

1.T:Today we’ve learned how to make some preparations for our trips on our summer holidays. Let’s read the new words and sentences together.
2.A good beginning is half done.良好的开端是成功的一半。
Step8 Homework
    1.Copy the words and sentences three times.
2.Listen to the tape and read the text fluently.
3.Tell your parents or friends about your trips on May Day.
