Step 3 While-reading
1. 整体阅读文章,了解文章内容。

T: OK! Now please read Sarah’s diary and see: What are the kittens like on …? 学生读完后,依次按时间顺序引导学生说出小猫的样子 T: First, Let’s :What are the kittens like on April 15th? S:….

3. 深层次理解文章
在完成最后一个时间关于小猫的描述后,
T:Now the kittens grow up. How old are the new kittens on May 3rd ? 学生答不上,继续问:Then how old are the new kittens on April 21st ?
然后主笔引导学生推算出其他时间的年龄,最后说April 15th 的年龄。
同时板书年龄,最后写April 15th 的年龄
4.说完年龄后,复数不同时间小猫的样子,同时板书。 Step 4 After-reading
1.Play a game贴图片,巩固课文内容
出示图片,引导学生说出日期和小猫的外貌, 将图贴到黑板的相应位置 T: I have four pictures. Look at this one. What are the kittens like?
