活动4. 头脑风暴 在这一环节中,教师先是拿着“邀请函”故弄玄虚地展开一角,把学生的目光聚焦到图片上来,激发学生的好奇,通过学生“读图”解决词汇Easter Bunny,Easter Eggs;再整体呈现“邀请函”,通过图文猜测出节日主题Easter;课件顺势呈现Easter Party图片,此时学生的已有的经验和新的教学内容在此时对接,因而他们兴趣高涨,对Easter Party有了无线的遐想,于是教师伺机引导学生提问题——关于Easter Party的问题,教师将学生的提出的问题稍作梳理写于黑板。 这一环节中,教师一改那种,老师问,学生作答,学生被动接受知识的状态,而是放手,作为一名旁观者,引导者,适时的学习帮助者的角色存在,引导学生观察、思考、讨论、提问,关注学生学习,根据基于学生需求的去教学。 活动5. 我问我答 根据学生的提问,引导学生分段阅读,逐一解决疑问。 第一部分(when,why,where),因为涉及的问答比较简单,所以阅读之后直接回答。 活动6. 快乐Easter 第二部分的阅读(what部分)涉及许多的动词词组roll,look for, meet, eat…是本课的关键部分,教师分以下几个层次来处理: 第一层次,理解。为了让学生读懂文本,理解动词短语,教师先是让学生初读文本,划出动词短语,再让学生在“学习任务单”中众多的短语中挑选出相应地词组。在这个阅读后的任务中,貌似只是一个简单的“阅读-提取信息-甄别信息”的活动,但实际上,学生在“任务单”中甄别真真假假信息的过程中,不知不觉阅读了大量的本课之外的动词短语。这张“任务单”的设计意图,不仅仅为了这个环节而用,更是为了下一个“看视频”环节和最后的writing活动做了一个词汇上的激活,知识上的储备,重复利用,一举三得。 第二层次,体验。文本中所提及roll Easter eggs和look for eggs词组是本课新知,教师借助“大小声”和“滚彩蛋”两个游戏让学生亲身体验Easter Party的快乐。 第三层次,练习。通过前面启发、铺垫、新知的教学,此时,教师将零散的动词短语(有适当扩充)集合成一篇有内容,有意思,有文化内涵的Easter辅助文本(见左斜体字部分),并配以色彩明快的照片和音乐,整体呈现,原本平面的文字立体化地跃然而出。当学生的学习热情被极大激发时,教师围绕着“视频”大做文章,引导学生猜、看、读,用多样的方式操练We’ll…句型。 活动7. 我猜,我猜,我猜猜猜 这是本课的第三部分,难点较多,只做“略”读处理,主要是通过猜测性的选择来帮助学生扫清两个难点by和RSVP的意思。 此处,教师引导学生仔细观察Robin和老师黑板上的invitation的异同点,启发学生说出原因,如哪张卡片更加 colorful,beautiful,long,short…(当然如果学生用英语表达比较困难,也可以用中文代替)。通过学生自己的观察,归纳出英文invitation的特点:简洁明了,而且通常有WHEN, WHERE, WHY, WHAT,RSVP这些关键词。 随着学生的归纳总结,教师将黑板上多余的词句擦去,“疑问句”逐渐提炼成了“疑问词”,凸显从繁到简的过程,加深了印象。 |

活动8. 策划生日趴 最后读到写的过渡,教师并不是按照书上内容,写一写既定的内容,而是先让学生阅读辅助文本(Robin的一张关于birthday party的便条),引导学生关注文本的内容,或赞同,或否定,鼓励他们展开想象,大胆提出自己的观点。最终通过小组合作,策划个性化的birthday party,并完成birthday invitation邀请卡的撰写任务,最后通过各个小组口头表述,展示学习成果。学生投票,选择最吸引人的生日趴。 本课前期层层跟进的活动,学生原有积累的语言和知识不断地被激活和被迁移,不断和新授知识对接和建构,新旧知识不断浮现循环滚动,真正实现了学生们在课堂上的增量,因此在这一阶段,学生能自如运用语言知识去做事,这样的读写活动设计,启发了学生的思维,激发了他们的表达欲,同时让读和写变得更加有实际意义,达到学以致用的目的,最终完成本课教学目标。 |

作业分两个层次,一是听读课文,这是常规的基础作业,为的是夯实基础;二是写的作业,但是在写之前,需要先阅读学校的行事历,再思考,策划相应地活动,是属于实践性作业,是对本课所学的知识的拓展性的应用。 |
