本课选自 PEP 5 Unit 4 Part C Story time(P45)。本单元的主题是What can you do?。语言知识主要涉及What can you do? I can … Can you…? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.等句型。该故事讲述的是一只老鼠不小心碰到了想吃掉它的蛇,聪明的老鼠积极地开动脑筋,骗过了蛇,从蛇口逃生的一次经历,是孩子感兴趣的话题。通过有趣的故事创设真实的情景,综合孩子们已有的语言知识,巩固本单元核心语料。 教学 设计 说明
这是一节有趣的故事课,内容简单易懂。从情感态度价值方面来说,要培养学生遇到危险要冷静并开动脑筋的意识。本课故事教学突出“讲故事”,特别是引导学生观察故事中的人、物、环境,通过师生互动共同来理解故事。教学重点是理解故事,而不是语音、词汇和语法。本课尝试创设戏剧氛围,使学生通过说,唱,玩,演,去思考,去合作,去实践,真切体验故事人物角色的心理和情感。学生在理解、朗读、表演故事等过程中逐步提高综合语言运用能力。

1. 学生能通过倾听、读图、预测和切身的角色体验理解整个故事内容,并能感受
到英语学习的乐趣。
2. 学生能在故事推进过程中,在整体语境中理解句子“Here comes some tasty
food.”, “Wait a minute”,”There is a lake near here.”以及单词”throw”, ”silly”, 和词组 ”swim away”的意思。
3. 学生能在情境中巩固运用本单元核心句型What can you do? I can….Can
you…? Yes, I can…. No, I can’t. 4. 学生能有感情地朗读并表演故事。
