Analysis of teaching content
This lesson is telling a story about the rat and the snake.the story is very interesting and the students are interested in the story.Dialogue between rat and the snakes is about the key sentence :What can you ...?I can .. Can you ...?Yes,I can/NO,I can’t.The students can talk about it.But the words of “wait a minuter ”is hard for the students.
Teaching process Warming up
1, Greeting
T:Hello,boys and girls.It’s cloudy today,Let’s play a guessing game to cheer us up. 2,Guessing who is she/he? (T show the ppt)
A:He is funny,he is good at English and he often help the teacher
B:She is tall and thin,she has long hair,she is quiet and she is hard-working.

1,T:I like the rat very much. Because I think it is very cute. 2,(T show the picture 1 of the story)
T:look,Today i want to tell you a story about the rat. T: The little snake is picking up the flowers near the lake. It is very happy.
3,(ppt show the snake) But suddenly ,here comes a hungry snake. What will happen when the rat meets the snake? Are they good friend? What can the rat do?Now watch the video.

Mouse: Yes, I can.Let me go,then I can dance for you. Picture 5-6:(the snake think for a while then he find a lake) Snake:Let me see,there is a lake near here,can you swim? Mouse:(smile and then turn scare)No,Don’t throw me into the lake,please.
Snake is happy and throw the mouse into the lake and he is waiting for something happen… suddenly, the mouse swim and it can swim
Mouse: Haha,Silly snake, Now I can swim away, bye. 6,T:now,can you tell me.
