【设计背景】
1. 主题语境:人与自然——人与植物、人与环境
学生对主题意义的探究应是学生学习语言的最重要内容,直接影响学生语篇理解的程度、思维发展的水平和语言学习的成效。1词汇教学不单单是一种语言知识的教学,更应将其融入到语境,通过语境理解词汇,掌握词汇,并最终运用到语言交际当中。基于以上理解,本课抽取本单元词汇表和课文中的部分重点单词和词块,在学生完成课文学习的基础上,通过对法国《小王子》故事进行改编,和对生词进行重新加工,使学生在主题的带领下深入理解、学习并运用词汇。同时,本课尝试通过把小王子与玫瑰的故事整合到整个课堂流程中,引导学生感受身边事物和周边环境的重要性,从而回归到“人与自然”的六要素整合的新课程标准中。
2. 语篇类型:口头记叙文
本课试图通过《小王子》的故事作为开头进行整篇引入,以口头表达的方式对目标词汇进行不同形式的深加工,最后以开放式的结尾分组进行整篇口头输出。 3. 授课时长:1个课时(40分钟)
【文本分析】
本课是Module 9 Unit 4的词汇运用课。本单元主题为Exploring Plants,讲述的是某些植物的人为迁徙历史。有鉴于此,本课尝试以此作为基础进行展开,通过小王子遇到他的玫瑰,游历各方并最终返回自己的星球后发现玫瑰已香消玉殒的一系列故事情节,以口语作为表达载体,不断换各种形式的口头练习来搭建脚手架,训练学生的对本单元目标单词和词块的理解和运用。
【学情分析】
是次授课对象是高三文科班的学生,其总体层次在本校属中等偏上水平,但班级内部学生的英语水平分化严重。部分低层次学生基础较差,与中高层次学生的差距较大。考虑到以上情况,在本课设计伊始,先通过视频来引起学生兴趣,然后以简单的词汇替换练习来帮助低层次学生理解目标词汇,继而利用合并句子的方法针对中高层次学生进行提升,最后通过小组合作的方式完成口头作文,靠层层搭建的脚手架最终达到词——句——篇的输出。
【教学目标】
在本课学习结束时,学生能够: 1. 语言知识

理解并掌握目标单词与词块;

避免口头表达中常出现的语法错误和语言语调问题。

【教学反思】
本课通过主题语境引领,以口头表达的方式,整篇输入,整篇输出。在课堂的整个流程中,通过改编《小王子》故事,推进课堂进程。在单词和语块的学习活动中,以故事流程作为背景,利用同义词升级练习、词汇替换练习、句子整合练习和篇章生成练习来促进学生对目标词汇的理解和运用,做到从词到句,从句到篇的脚手架搭建。最后以“‘玫瑰’对于我们的意义,我们应如何对待地球上的‘玫瑰’”的主题进行开放式故事续写,进一步巩固课堂上所学习的单词和词块。
然而,在本课实施过程中,由于并非自己常驻班级,所以师生之间的教学默契度稍欠,导致上课开始的时候学生未能及时对老师的讲授产生反应。另一方面,过度关注某个别学生的问题,而未能做到以点带面,带动学生思考,也需要继续自我完善和提升。
所以,如果重新开展本节课的教学,需要在确保个别学生理解老师的话的基础上,带动整个班的
学生一起思考问题,并针对问题提出提升方案。千万不要小觑学生的智慧。

Focus on the pronunciation and fluency when generating the speech.
