Analysis of the students
Most of the students in this class are not good (or even poor) at English, so they are not confident enough to speak out. But some students are active in learning who I think can act as role models to encourage other students to learn. Besides, sentence analysis is difficult for most of them, even though they are in grade 3. So it is very important to help them to improve step by step, which helps them gain confidence in English.

Becoming an agricultural scientist. Agriculture is similar to biology and uses many of its principles and methods. Agricultural scientists need to study mathematics
and other sciences to solve the problems of agriculture, which are usually about the behaviour of insects, the size of crops or soil use. A good understanding of mathematics is important so you can conduct experiments and projects as well as provide statistics with your results. One of the most exciting parts of this job is that it gives the agro-scientist an opportunity to work independently and develop his/her own solutions to complicated and difficult problems. Having completed a first degree in biology students are expected to be familiar with agricultural
processes and science, have a good knowledge of English both for reading and for writing, and understanding of the properties of chemical substances. If you like to work alone, enjoy designing experiments, making surveys and appreciate a good working environment, then this is the job for you.
Teaching reflection
Generally speaking, I have achieved the teaching objectives and I am also amazed and even moved at my students’ ability to cope with a class in English only. The potential of children are limitless.
To be honest, there are also some points to be improved in this lesson. For example, not every student is involved in the lesson, whom I should have encouraged and helped. In the future, I should supervise the whole class rather than only the active ones.
