Teaching Procedure
Step 1 Independent learning
Students show their findings about the important phrases and teachers show the phrases.
Step 2 Lead in
Ask a series of questions “Do you like traveling ? Do you think what is the most important thing before traveling ?”
Step 3 Unit 3 Travel journal warming up Step 4 Make a plan
(1) Where are you going ?---place (2)When are you leaving ?---time (3)What are you taking?--- things
(4)How are you arriving ?---transportation
Step 5 Questions and teamwork
(1) Imagine you preparing for a trip. What should you take ?

(2) Imagine you preparing for a trip. which means of transportation will you use ? Show the pictures of the means of transportation

Step 6 Grammar: 现在进行时表将来 (be doing）
现在进行时可表将来，常含有“意图”， “安排” 或者“打算”的含义.这种用法比较生动，给人一种期待感。此时所使用的动词多是转移动词，如：come, go ,start, arrive, leave , stay等。表示将来的现在进行时除用于转移动词外,也可以用于某些非转移动词,例如take, do ,meet 等。 With “be +doing” answer the four questions.
