Let the Ss enjoy a video and fill in the blank.

1. Revise the three types of mood:indicative mood, imperative mood, subjunctive mood. 2. Revise the basic grammar of subjunctive mood.
First divide the class into two groups and then have a competition between them. 2.1 Use if clause to express the subjunctive mood. Ask the students to fill in the blanks.

2.3 Use some verbs to express the subjunctive mood. 1) insist 坚持
2) order, command 命令 宾语从句(should)+do 3) advise, suggest, propose 建议 4) demand, require, request, ask 要求 Fill in the blanks.
1) He suggested that the twins ___________ (send) to a ballet school.(send) 2)They insisted that he ______________ (take) part in the sports meeting. 3) She requested that no one ____________ (smoke) in the meeting room. 4) They demanded that the best food _________________.(cook) Notice: All the evidence suggests that he ________ (steal) the money. He insisted that he _________(be) the best in the class.
当suggest, insist不表示“建议” 或“坚持要某人做某事”时, 而是“暗示、表明”、“坚持认为”的意思时, 宾语从句不用虚拟语气,用陈述语气。 Do more exercises:
