Revise the subjunctive mood 教学设计
学习目标:
1. 通过对课堂实例让学生能够理解虚拟语气的含义。
2. 通过练习能理解并掌if握虚拟条件句在高考题中的应用。 3. 能使用if虚拟语气简单造句。 学习任务:
观察下列选取的句子,注意虚拟语气的使用。
If I had not pulled the sword out at first, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with her. If I were not the Monkey King, I wouldn’t give up her hands.
If we should turn into common people some day, we would live happily with each other.
教学方法:
讨论,总结,复述。
教学用具:
多媒体,助学案。
教学过程:
Step 1:定义:虚拟语气表示说话人的愿望、假设或建议,而不是客观存在的事实,它通过谓语动词的特殊形式来表示。 1.条件句中的虚拟语气
包含条件从句的句子称为条件句。条件句分为两类:一类是真实条件句,一类是虚拟条件句。
(1)如果假设的情况很可能发生,就用真实条件句。If he has time,he will come. (2)如果假设的情况发生的可能性不大,则用虚拟条件句。
Step 2.经典翻拍
If the farmer ___________(not see) the snake, he _________________ (not put) it under his coat; if he __________ (not put)it under his coat ,the snake ___________________ (not bite) him; if the snake____________ (not bite) him, he __________________(not die).
Step 3 .小议一下
What would you want to do if you were a millionaire? Work in pairs and make a dialogue. the following sentence patterns may help you. A: If I were a millionaire, we____________.

Step 4.奇思妙想

【重点提示】
含有条件状语从句中的虚拟语气使用时要注意以下几点:
(1)在虚拟语气的从句中,动词“be”的过去时态常用“________”, 不用was。 (2)虚拟条件句中有were,had,should时,可把_____省略,而把_____________________放在主语前,用倒装结构。

教学反思:
对于普通中学的学生而言,教学切入点比较好,选用了学生感兴趣的《大话西游》电影为切入,并且贯穿了整节课堂,学生的关注度比较高。期间穿插了学生比较感兴趣的梦想话题,比较贴近学生的生活。不足之处是最后学生在三个问题的讨论点上难度还是有点大,且时间花费有点多。普通中学的孩子基础不够好,完整的句子不能够完全呈现,因此,在后续的课堂设计中,除了继续保留学生感兴趣的话题,练习的设计还需要降低难度。
